I am wanting to buy a car from my friend's neighbor. Sabi daw cash ang bili niya sa kotse kaya wala siyang Release of Chattel Mortgage document. Only OR/CR lang at gumawa siya ng Deed of Sale.

In addition sa Deed of Sale at sa OR/CR sa pangalan niya, meroon pa bang documents na kilangan niyang ipresent sa akin, sa buyer?

no . that is all. or/ cr. and receipt to your name.

chattel mortgage is only for buying with financing.


if you buy via bank loan, the name of the car would be the name of the bank - not yours.

If its cash out
You will have a temporary tittle with your name on it
If its financed
The tittle you will have will be named after the bank who loaned that money
