Beware: Laboracay nanaman sa May 1

May 1 is Friday. Long weekend nanaman

Too crowded.
Too many celebs might be there.
Too many happenings.
Too many gays.
Too many sosyals.
Too many vain people
too many narcissists taking selfies and bragging their bods.

November palang..."Guys let's book for laboracay na!"

    "G!"

  • Boracay. Eeewww...that's so plebeian.

I'll be island-hopping in the Netherlands Antilles around those dates.

    Chos.

So what? Why do we have to make petty things like this such a big deal.

Parang insecure na nagsa-sour grape tuloy dating mo. Pfffft.
  • maki-join ka na lang din sa parties! http://planyourtripnow.com/laboracay-2015/

gusto ko rin maka experience na makapag stay sa Boracay for at least 1 week sana nga for the very first time in my life, will be on next year, anyone nakakaalam kung saan mas mura ang hotel or something like that

Boracay is a party place at the beach. Maybe when I was younger that was appealing to me but now not anymore since I prefer quiet time and 'steady' vibes at the beach. I'm too old to drink or do drugs until I pass out on the shore. My bones hurt just thinking about it. #likealola

That said, two years ago I was supposed to go to boracay on labor day. I booked the tickets and all that but I had to cancel my trip for personal reasons. Anyway, I saw 'laboracay' pics from that time and wow nakakastress ang dami ng tao. Mas dumami pa the year after.

    .

    + 1

Pero mukhang mahirap na makahanap ng beach resort these days na may quiet time ka at 'steady vibes'....sa dami ng mga company outings ngayon. Just last year, I went to couple of beach resorts which I thought would give me that vibe, but I was wrong. Last year dun sa isang resort, ang malas namin na may makasabay pa kami na company outing with 15 buses! potek yan ang dame ang iingay pa, kahit nasa kabilang dulo sila ng beach maririnig mo yung ingay pati yung mga MC nilang BADING. Kakairita.

What are these people thinking?

Laboracay is for Generation Z and degenerates. Just my opinion
  • ^ 15 buses?!?

Whatever floats your boat ika nga.

I don't think I'd be able to deal with the crowd of Boracay  Just thinking of all the sweaty, sticky bodies rubbing into each other because of lack of personal space makes me want to curl up in my bed with the AC on full blast

For a while, I did the whole party scene and to be honest, it is tiring! These days, we just have house parties and by 3-4am, everyone is home na. Drinking and well, a few harmless joints is fine but you have to know where to draw the line and Boracay is a place of excess.
  • i would go here on May 1 even if everything will be for free
