John Lennon on God — PinoyExchange

John Lennon on God

Lennon was not an atheist, but believed that god was something different to everyone. He also believed that people focus too much on the teacher (God) rather than what is supposed to be taught. In songs like this and "Imagine," Lennon's was trying to send the message that we should not let religion and other things get in the way of how we think life should be lived. In "Imagine," "Living for today" means to live as if there is no afterlife or god and to do the best you can. In this song, "I just believe in me" states his belief in his life regardless of anything else.

  • he was right ...... the beatles were more popular than Jesus during the Beatles era.

he was also right that TELEVISION is more popular than Jesus. because, TV made the Beatles popular.

thus, TELEVISION is greater than the Beatles.

^ sana nga, lahat naman ipapakita sa atin, kung alam niyo lang sa pex dati i was also an atheist under a different nickname, for me, i came into conclusion, impossibleng walang Diyos, umaapaw ang evidences eh, kung gusto niyo scientific evidence, ang dami

pero sana pag dumating na iyon lumapit si God, buksan talaga ang isipan at puso, kesa mag regret tayo huli na
  • Frank Macky isn’t an atheist. He/she isn’t agnostic either. Frank’s a New Ager/

I wonder what made you say this? based on his previous posts, to become a religious man was never been an option for him.

^Being "religious" is relative. I for example am not religious compared to TLG perhaps. And also Im not saying the TS is religious. I think there is something going on in his life and now he is seemingly realizing there is God. You can read his previous posts here in ROT. He was the only one here I really believe was an atheist. I I think I said it before here. All the rest are agnostic. But with this thread of his, I now consider him more of an agnostic rather than an atheist. Again I consider that a good thing. :)
