i want to know the position of the RCC members here dahil child molestation is a very grave offense that can be done to a human being. So I want to know if the RCC members here agree with the vatican that defrocking is an enough punishment for these molestors??

he should be tortured to death with steel pipes, piano wire, and a blow torch at the basement of his parish church, and then thrown into the pasig river.0

The question is defrocking enough punishment??...As far as I understand a defrocked priest only removes his clerical right but he is still a priest?...Am i Wrong??
Again on this basis 3400 child molesting priest with an average of 6 molested children these comes up to 20400 children in total..These are only the sentenced priest there are still more being process so I dont know how this could have happened but It did....0 -
a criminal action of the church maybe applied if the child molestation occured inside the vatican.
but there are no minors at the vatican.
the church and state are separate. the only thing the church can do is defrock its clergy and help the state prosecute the criminal.0 -

Before starting a post, first thing you should do is use your brain and think what will you INC do when given the same situtation! Ako na nga sasagot kasi as usual you are too stupid to make educated conclusions, laging bias mga conclusion mo eh...
If an INC minister molested/*****/harass someone, then the most that the INC central admin can do is strip that guy from being a minister, the ones who can prosecute him is the state on which he committed the crime and not the church... get it boborat?
And also..yung in-agreehan mo kay cretinous, it shows how barbaric you are and if you don't know, that was a news about the INCGinawa yan ng INC and you suprisingly agreed to cretin... utak barbaro ba talaga ang INC?

The question hindi mo din ata naintindihan..are they still a priest or not? Dahil as far as I understood the stand of the vatican dogma. A priest will always be a priest no matter what happens in his life. So he is only strip of clerical obligations but he is still a priest. That priest abroad na nandito sa pinas ngayon yung nangongolekta ng ivory images di ba pinalayas yan sa US dahil sexual abuse case sa kanya pero you see that priest here in pinas living the life still of a priest. Was he punish severely for his action why is the church still cajoling that priest??0 -
hmmmm ...... TS is suggesting that the RCC should follow the INC way. itiwalag at maghugas kamay sa mga kasalanan ng kanila kapatid.
under the law of the land, ".... innocent until proven guilty." it is the responsibility of the state to prosecute and the church should only suspend until the accused is proven guilty. once proven guilty, the church can laicize the criminal priest.0 -
