Help me decide: Buying 2nd hand car

-Budget 300k
-For city driving lang
-Fuel consumption is not an issue since once or twice a week lang magagamit and dito lang sa area namin.
-Sedan or CUV type
-Needs to be automatic
-Good for beginner driver


So far ang choices ko:

City
Mazda 3
Escape (mahirap makahanap ng parts?)
CRV (Malakas daw sa gas?)

What do you think guys? kung my suggestion kayo, paki post and kung bakit.

Wala ako masyado alam sa sasakyan so any info will surely help guys.

Depende na iyan sa may-ari ng segunda manong sasakyan. Pinakamainam magsama ka ng katiwala mong mekaniko kapag tumingin ka ng sasakyan.

between your choices, I'd either go for the City for fuel consumption and ease of maintenance or the CR-V if I needed the space.

crv based on your choices imo. Its easier to drive because of your driving position. For that price youd probably get 1999 to 2004 model(s). I used to own one(2003) and it never gave up on me despite not maintaining it properly.

Anyway, yes you should bring a friend / mechanic who knows how to check cars. Do some research as well so you know what to do. Go to forums like tsikot, carguide, autoindustriya, ayosdito cars, motioncars, etc

*As much as i like mazda, parang mas mahirap hanapan yan ng parts pero sa banawe nila halos kinukuha

I've been searching on olx, tsikot and ayosdito for a month na and I'm still not decided.

Pero I'm leaning towards getting CRV na. I said fuel consumption is not an issue pero pag lumalaklak na ng gas eh ibang usapan na. What do you think guys?

^ kaya usually manual binibili pag 2nd hand pero sa Honda - sa experience ko owning 3 hondas - around 150,000 - 160,000 kms magbebreak down na yung transmission. Di ako maalaga sa kotse. Isang SiR, isang crv at isang civic(eagle eye). Di ko alam sa city but i imagine ganun din yun.

Anyway, naalala ko yung crv di naman masyado malakas sa gas basta di mabigat paa mo

Having driven all of them, I like the X-trail for power and the CR-V for reliability. I'm not a fan of the escape especially the V6 version which drinks petrol but feels like a 4-cylinder.
