Power steering noise

Hi guys, just have a problem sa kotse namin kasi everytime nag da-drive ako may parang squeeling noise kapag nag ssteer ako ng steering wheel.sa tingin ko kasi may tagas yung sa may hose ng steering fluid ko kasi ang bilis mabawasan..any idea magkano po yung pagawa ng ganitong sira..thanks.

The normal things to check are the high pressure hoses, steering pump and belt. Have it checked first.

Squeeling is likely a loose power-steering belt. It could be a simple fix of tightening the tension or if its old, just replace it. Yung tagas, bli ka lang ng repair kit (make sure OEM). Total cost incl. labor, between P4-5k.

Pagawa mo na agad, or kung wala pa budget, putulin mo na lang belt ng power steering, dahil baka masira pa rack en pinion ng oto un nga lang pawis steering ka, nangyari sa oto ko yan nung august.

Just to add, don't go cheap on the hoses. A power steering system usually has a number of hoses some of which would have specialised hoses that are combinations of tubing and hosing. These ones in particular won't be cheap.
