Frank Tipler a physicist/cosmologist tried to reduce the fundamental tenets of religion into physics. ( i don't agree.)

Other minds with all their imaginations or intelligence can also argue that physics is a branch of theology/religion.

It is a word-play but not logically unfruitful for the mind yearning for intellectual adventures.


In a restricted sense, science is a method of knowing reality.

or, science in itself is an art too.

The human spirit(to my concern) goes up further upon deeper reflection of reality into the more final religious stage. To some, the great knowledge in science either create intellectual satisfaction or emptiness...thus comes the religious feeling. Some one that is religious doesn't mean that he's repudiating or indifferent to science. It is this intellectual satisfaction or emptiness that drives him to pursue something more than just knowing
