Meal Planning: Ano ang parati nyong ulam linggo-linggo?

When we plan out our week or when we do our weekly grocery shopping - what are the dishes that you end up cooking almost every single week?

Kami sa bahay laging may sinigang - whether sinigang na baboy o bangus o beef - basta siguradong meron sinigang. Kung di naman sinigang, siguradong may giniling.

    Hindi nawawala sa niluluto ng nanay ko ang fried chicken, adobong baboy, nilagang baboy at paksiw :D

    1. Sinigang (Pork, Beef or Salmon)
    2. Adobo
    3. Pakbet
    4. Fried Chicken
    5. Soup (pwede na ko sa Knorr products) :D

    back up, tipong constant na sa grocery ang pork tocino, longganisa and tapa. :D and marinated bangus. *pag walang naibilin na iluto. :D

    Hindi mawawala tuwing Biyernes ang Monggo - Monggo na may baboy/hipon/tinapa flakes

    Sinigang - baboy, bangus, hipon

    Adobo - na may sitaw, sa suka, may sabaw, tuyo, yung isda (hindi ko alam kung anong isda yun)

    interchangeable ang Adobo at Sinigang from Mon-Thurs

  • the staples in our house include adobo, mechado/menudo/afritada, caldareta (de sarsa types), sinigang, tinola and inihaw na liempo, lechon macau, crispy pata, dinuguan

    we also buy boneless bangus for a quick fix.

    i inject some of my input just to break the monotony so at least two days a week merong iba like honey garlic spare ribs, fish with tofu, kare kare, salpicao, boneless chicken barbecue, deep fried garlic paprika chicken with matching potato salad, morcon, hamonado, bachoy

    yup salads are considered as such.

    Every week hindi maaring hindi ako gagawa ng tomato sauce na ang gamit ko ay pure fruits of tomato,ala mediterranean style.Pinakabasis ko kasi yan sa lahat ng niluluto ko like lasagna,o kaya spaghetti miramare(seafoods) o kaya panglagay sa pizza o kaya lalagyan ko ng tuna in can saka pakukuluan ulit at gamit kong noodle ay penne.O kaya yung goulasch soup na may burgundy red wine.

    Kung bumili ako ng tomato fruits ay 10 kilos.Ginagawa kong pure sauce yan.sauce,walang kahalo-halong tubig.

    Maganda sa katawan ang tomato,anti-oxidant sya.

    Nothing specific but there will always be salad, pasta and fish. Staple in our household :)
  • Basta dapat 5 x fish/veggies/chicken

    1x pork

    1x beef (every sunday only)

    Every Sunday lunch is grilled pork. Tapos within the week nilagang baka, pinakbet, fried chicken/chicken fillet, adobo. Grilled fish naman every Friday night.
