According to what I read, the country who has the most number of percentage who believe in God is the Philippines with 84 percent but in the western countries like in the United States and Europe,Christianity is in decline.

While the numbers may be suspect, marami kasing bagong christian sect. Dogs who fights for scraps under the table. So pupuwedeng di masyado makikita sa stats, plus a lot are cafeteria christians at non-practicing catholic who'd rather just put in RC as religion kesa humaba pa ang usapan. Not to mention meron pang ISIS.

Plus religion thrives in hardship.

I agree with this view. The poorer the person the more s/he turns to religion for answers to problems.

The Filipino migrants to other countries keep their religion but their children who grew up in those countries have become non-practicing and even non-believers.

  • The more educated you become, the less likely you will get swayed by doctrines of the Church. Many educated Filipinos remain to be Christians but they become more critical of the actions of the church.

Religion is capable of driving people to such dangerous folly that faith to me seems to qualify as a mental illness
