Honest answer from Menorrah, an INC member

You can post one question at a time and I will answer it honestly.

Question must be simple and not requiring too much exegesis or commentary of a whole chapter. It should be about my faith as a member of the Iglesia ni Cristo.

I have until middle of August for this and then I will be gone again.

  • paano naging world war 1 tanks ang karong parang ipoipo samantalang ang karo ay nakakabit sa kabayo...at kabayo ay sing bilis ng agila?
  • Your question is about Jeremiah 4:13 which the INC used to describe the prophecy about WW1.

The chariot with its horse couldn't be faster than the horse without the chariot.

A whirlwind has to slow down on its horizontal speed to make so much damage just as tanks do.
  • Hi menorrah, i really appreciate you giving time to answer our questions. let me re post my questions from the previous thread.

"Una, si lamsa ay naniniwala sa trinity yet the INC does not but they follow the bible of the person who believe in trinity. Second, they hate RCC, but they do follow the bible that RCC compiled. "
  • Do you have a unique name for yourselves beside "inc" or "inc member"?

    "i'm catholic"

    "i'm born again"

    "i'm muslim"

    "i'm buddhist"

    "i'm a jehovah's witness"

    "i'm ____"

I will answer your first question and then I will answer other people's question and then go back to your second question and other questions. But I want to give equal chances to everyone. I specifically said one question at a time.

For your first question, we only used Lamsa for several verses like Acts 20:28 and 2 Cor 6:15. We know that Lamsa believes that Jesus is God but we also know that many other versions of the bible are translated by Trinitarians. We don't choose specific versions of the bible for the doctrines. Each verse and it's different renditions are examined using the principle of comparing spiritual things with spiritual as written in 1 Cor 2:13.. They should not contradict.

We have a hymn called "I am a member of the Church of Christ" or " Ako'y Iglesia ni Cristo".

Aside from the name of Christ, we don't want to be called any other name. No other religion calls their members that way. So it is unique already.

We also describe ourselves as children of God, elect, sons and daughters of God, Christian, chosen people, nation of God, etc. But those are not unique.

so horses= speed , and the chariot is talking about the damage........so you are saying that it contradicts the horses... so the horses on a chariot is not as fast as an eagle........
  • your tanks is also contradicted by the sentence "at sya ay sasagupang parang mga ulap" which certainly refer to an aerial battle......."at ang kanyang mga kabayo ay sing bilis ng agila" this is understandable that it is a warplane.....the chariot is doubtful as a tank since it was a land vehicle. ... inspite that the chariot is drawn by horses...

why are INCs very similar to Islam?
  • if you read the whole chapter you will find that the invader is the one who owns that horses and chariot not the country to be invade....but if you read the ww1 history it was the british who first introduce the tanks...

Muhammad's uncle in law was a monotheistic Christian and he got it from him. He was using Syriac bible as well.

I studied Islam, that's my source.

We don't hate RCC. We love them and we just want to tell them the truth in our own perspective.

The RCC compiled the bible and also so many others did too. However, the bible canonized itself because each book are compared with each other and used each other as a measuring stick. Canon means measuring stick.

    whats the difference?
  • Question: do you circumcise your boys?

Question: do you circumcise your boys?

It's not a religious requirement to circumcise while most are due to tradition and for health reasons as per doctors advice.
