TV5 Cool Guys, Hot Ramen Starring Jung Il Woo and Lee Chung Ah
TV5 premieres new back-to-back offerings this July 7
The Kapatid Network remains true to its commitment to find ways to cater to the changing taste of Pinoy viewers. This is why, beginning this July 7, Monday, TV5 will be launching an exciting mix of program offerings that will spice up everyday TV viewing.
First up is the back-to-back opening of the all-new season of TV5s flagship programs Face the People and Lets Ask Pilipinas. Not only will these well-loved shows be enjoyed earlier in the day, but both have new hosts whom viewers will surely love.
Face the People, airing at 10:15AM on weekdays, welcomes Edu Manzano to the show to provide the male perspective on the issues at hand Together with Gelli De Belen and Tintin Bersola-Babao, the three hosts will help their case subjects resolve their dilemmas and initiate a happy change in their lives.
On its first episode this Monday, the controversial Maegan Aguilar will sit on the iconic silya de konsensiya to air her grievances against her father, King of Pinoy Folk Songs Ka Freddie Aguilar, and his wife Bhabe. The discussion reportedly leads to a heated debate and a walk-out, which viewers should not miss.
Airing right after at 11:15AM is the only interactive game show of its kind in the country, Lets Ask Pilipinas. Multi-awarded singer-songwriter and host-actor Ogie Alcasid leads the fun exchange of wild guesses and hilarious comments from the contestants who play via video chat from the comfort of their homes. The show also introduces the new segment Lets Ask Barangay which gives viewers across the country a chance to be part of their favorite game show.
This Mondays episode features OPM artists Jaya, Jireh Lim, Noel Cabangon, and Pops Fernandez who will all be playing for the grand prize. Ogies Confessions of a Torpe co-stars Bayani Agbayani and Jojo Alejar will also be expressing their support for their friends newest game show.
In the evening, TV5 offers fresh viewing alternative with two Tagalized Koreanovelas airing back-to-back starting at 9PM. The first is the hit series Bride of the Century featuring Lee Hong Ki, the lead vocalist of popular South Korean band FT Island. In this fantasy-romance, he stars with one of the most loved actresses in South Korea, Yang Jin Sung, who plays a dual role in the series.
Right after is the romantic comedy Cool Guys, Hot Ramen at 9:30PM. Starring Jung Il Woo and Lee Chung Ah, the series is a delightful story of how a narcissistic successor of the biggest food conglomerate in South Korea falls in love with an intern in their family-owned university.
July 7 is definitely the start of an exciting season for Kapatid viewers, so make sure to catch Face the People at 10:15AM and Lets Ask Pilipinas at 11:15AM, as well as Bride of the Century at 9PM and Cool Guys, Hot Ramen at 9:30PM!
