unfortunately my iphone seems to be made in china...

but i'm doing that gradual transition to an android unit. i'll make it sure that the unit is not china made.

my gadgets, were all sent from china, so i think its not a matter of choice.

we may choose another brand, but those could still be possibly made in china as well. :glee:

the all brands i consciously do not buy na made in China, are the Philippine made Xmas decorations, which fill the home and deco stores in November.

cheap labor, cheap utilities, cheap land/lease. Until other countries top that, China will cont to be the manufacturing capital of the world.

may nakita akong 2tb sony external hd na made in the philippines nung kelan. pag nagkapera ko bibili ako nun

most of the cameras i owned were made in japan though

Tinatangkilik ko ang produkto kahit saan man gawa. Parang Levi's jeans that are made in the FEE-LEE-PEENs.

Ang gagaling kasi ng mga FEE-noys magalit sa Made in China, pero ang Tsina may ginawang eroplano. The J-20.

Anong ginawa ng FEE-nas? WALA!!!

everything i touch in store is made in china....canned goods from china is something i will never buy
  • Mostly everything is made in china ang hirap humanap ng hindi gawang china. Yes stay away from food that is made in china since you'll never know how they made it.
  • NO.

    Especially food Made In China

  • Maraming products na Made in China, pero marami ding hindi. Sa food "NO" talaga na galing sa China.

I try na Filipino first yung binibili ko. Tapos kung wala na talaga doon na made sa ibang bansa.
  • It's so hard to find any electronic device/gadget that doesn't have at least one part that's made in China.

Maybe manufacturers should have a "100% China-free" or "No part from China" guarantee. We should put up a certification body to make sure these products really are "China-free." :rotflmao:

i remember, nung nasa new york ako last month, bibili san ako nung mga murang souvenir tshirts... kaso made in china kaya hindi na lang ako bumili :D

ganun din nung bumibili ako ng souvenir item sa isang theater. may nagustuhan ako kaso nakita ko yung label na made in china. what i did was ask kung meron sila nung item na yun pero NOT made in china.

    wala akong nabili

those mcdo happy meal toys are all made in china. so i stopped mcdo happy meals. the same goes with giordano and guess US.A jeans.

boycotting chinese made items starts by learning to read the label and controlling your urges. you may not be 100% successful because there are no other alternatives but you have become more aware and discerning.

next time, just buy chocolates for souvenirs. you can never go wrong with chocolates.

Sa mga themeparks sa Orlando Florida, mga disney products pati na sa Universal Studio halos made in China ang tinitinda.

Nung nasa Greece kami, sabi ng isang greko sa amin,"pagdating ng year 4000 at may mga archaeologist na ang mahahalukay ay puro made in China at isiping chinese lang ang naging tao sa mundo nuong araw.

Hanggat maari hindi ako nabili ng pagkain na galing china lalo na yung seafoods...TSING TAO BEER ay made out of tubigkanal, pinakita sa tv dito.

Mga starbucks mugs, halos made in china.

Ang hilig ko pa namang mamili ng damit sa Mango, made in China din pala.

168 became a success because it retails cheap chinese items.

even the fake starbucks mugs sold in 168 are made in china. yun camera mugs din. so why patronize fake and smuggled items and produce from china when it is illegal?

wag ninyong sabihin kasi walang alternative. the mastermind behind these smuggling of chinese items and produce are also Chinese who are destabilizing our economy. it is cheap because they did not pay the proper tariff and taxes. it is the Chinese economy which is benefiting from these activities.

that is why boycotting chinese products will have some effect with the chinese economy. it may not be that drastic but it will weaken it in a minimal manner.

at gagawin nilang basis yan for claims in territorial disputes :D

depende rin sa souvenir minsan. kung simpleng ref magnet or key chain lang na ipapamigay, i don't mind kahit galing ng china lalo na kung mura. except na lang kung maganda ang gusto ko. pero for the really important things na sikat sa country na yun (e.g. leather goods in italy), i make sure na dun gawa. ang chocolates kasi consumable so ang tawag ko dun pasalubong. pero pag pagkain talaga dapat dun galing/gawa. ang souvenir for me hindi pwedeng kainin :)
