Speedometer

Sir question lang... ano ba ang problem pag yung speedometer mo ayaw umangat? For example, nasa 60kph na takbo ko under 3rd gear pero yung arrow naglalaro lang sa 20-25kph. Kahit 4th gear na hirap umagat yung gauge. Thanks

Is it the 1995 Toyota Corolla? If yes then probably the speedometer is already busted, you will need to replace it.

If it is another car in which it is an old model, the speedometer cable might be defective.

'95 corolla sir. pero possible ba na siya lang ang may prob... kasi yung fuel and temp gauge are okay. if papalitan ko, kelangan ba buong gauge panel na?

It is possible to just buy the speedometer, you could check with Toyota (quite a steep price) for a brand new or banawe for a 2nd hand.

P.S.
If your vehicle is an XL, you could also use a GLi panel gauge so that you have a tachometer. There was no wiring modification carried out with our 1993 Toyota Corolla when we switched to a GLi panel gauge, just replaced the whole thing.

It is an electronic speedometer, changed ours last 2-3 years ago.
