Ford Eco Sport

Looks interesting... Small SUV, but has 550mm wading depth (*according to Ford)
for less than 900k you can get the Automatic version. This suv looks like it was designed for the city.
i'm just a bit concerned why it just has a 1.5L gas engine?

thinking of selling my old diesel SUV and get this instead...

what are your thoughts on the newly launched EcoSport?

sabi nga ng ilan, It's a ford fiesta on stilts. Pero for me, sulit na siya especially sa road conditions natin dito sa MM. pero take note that this vehicle is only a FWD. (front wheel drive)

    From Top Gear PH:
Now, have you been scanning through this article quickly, looking for the telltale six-figure arrangement of numbers that would signify a price? Well, stop your eyes here. And yes, it's only six digits, not seven. Because the top-spec 1.5L Titanium AT variant only goes for P975,000. The 1.5L Trend AT costs P875,000, while opting for a Trend MT will save you P50,000 (go for it). And last but not least, the base 1.5L Ambiente MT variant is asking for a mere P775,000.

Only Brazil gets the AWD version. IMO this may undercut the Vios market.

what's your current diesel ride sir? if you don't mind.

i'm think this will not be fuel effiecient. siguro parang fuel consumption ng tucson gas. as fiesta is not much fuel efficient. mga 7-8km/li lang. and this ecosport is heavier. let's wait
  • looks kinda beluga whale design.. doesn't look stable. A compact car wannabe suv crossover with an anemic 1.5L 105hp/108ps engine and just 138nm torque? Goodluck in getting 8km/l on this baby considering the weight of this thing. Exterior design isn't appealing either. Hmmm... defunked Ford Ka?
