Is God Some Kind Of A Coward?

blackmaskblackmask Undying Legend PExer
sabi Nya ililigtas nya ang sangkatauhan...
sa kamatayan...
pero ang tanong...
Siya ba ang nagligtas? ...
di bat si Jesus?...

o e bat di na lang Sya ang bumaba...
at iniligtas ang tao?...
bakit isasakripisyo nya ang Kanyang Anak?...

tapos lakas ng loob nya na sabihin...
na iniligtas nya ang sangkatauhan...
thru his son Jusus Christ...

can this be attributable to what they call trinity?...

hirap isipin e...
is God some kind of a coward?...

Let me ask first your affiliation in the current schools of thought. Then I would like to know your religious affiliation if it applies.

    Thanks! :)

There are a lot of threads discussing the Trinity. Scholars and the early Church fathers have been discussing it for centuries and up until now nobody knows (with certainty) how it works.

So the way your topic goes it'll still delve on the issue of the Trinity. But my take on that is no, God is not a coward. ;)

oh eh anong labas mo non?...
andyan ka na nga na mas nakakatanda...
uutusan mo pa ang anak mo...
    tapos sasabihin mo...

The three persons in the Trinity have only one will. The three distinctions are all courageous.

    etc...
    etc...
    etc...

never did i see sa bible na naging courageous...

    imagine...
tiisin nya ang lahat ng hirap...
    para maligtas ang sangkatauhan...

    pero saan?...
    ano ang ginawa ng Ama?...

If He's a coward then He wouldn't have created us with free will. He simply would have created us automatons. The very act of creating us in His image is courageous.

    you know very well...
    that God is powerful...
kahit nilalang man nya tayo na may free will...
automatons pa rin ang labas natin...

    alam mo kung bakit?...
lets take this as an example...

    sasabihin ng Diyos na...
    bawal mambababae...
    of course...
may will tayong sumunod o hindi...
    but the fact is...
    na-register na sa mind natin...
    na kung susuway tayo...
    paparusahan nya tayo...
its a more like of an automatons...

tsaka to create something in our image...
doesnt prove that we are courageous...

di baga na nilalang nya tayo dahil nalulungkot sya?

A god who creates automatons is a cowardly god. Having free will is part of "His image". We are not automatons. Pwede akong mambabae, but I will have to suffer the consequences.

The use of the word "person" sometimes misleads us because of the way the word applies to us humans. We tend to think that the Father is a different being from The Son.

The Greek word for "being" is "hypostasis". "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word." (Heb 1:3)

They are distinct without being separate. What God is in his being, the Son also is.

"Hypostasis" could be defined like this: "That without which something cannot be." It could be called "the ground of being."

"Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father." (JOhn 14:9)

God doesn't interfere with the daily happenings of life. he doesn't go down and save people from dying, if your time's up then your time's up.
what God "saved" us from is "original sin", but it makes you wonder because it was God that made up this "original sin" in the first place.

    Interesting question.

Abraham was tested by God and asked him to sacrifice Isaac, though it was a common practice in those pagan days, Isaac was Abraham’s only son, the son of old age, Isaac was also the son of promise wherein Abraham seed was expected to flourish. The test was also prophetic of God’s wonderful plan, an allusion to God’s plan of salvation.

God is love and for eternity to eternity the Father loves the Son. (That is also another reason why oneness doctrine will never work). To those who have kids, they know that the command given to Abraham required from him more than faith and courage to fulfill, God gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him will have eternal life. blackmask, God loves you and risked his only son for you, that you may believe and have eternal life. With the risk that God took for all of us, I’d say He’s more than courageous.

God’s Word is law, if you believe that God created the universe through his Eternal Word, you would also believe that the universe is governed by physical laws, e.g., what comes up must come down. If you believe that universe consists of both physical and spiritual, you would also believe that the world is governed by spiritual laws, e.g., you sin you die.

The fact is we have a choice, why do we not jump over a cliff without a parachute? Is it not because we know about the law of gravity? God provided a way out of death, why people choose death over life is simply absurd to me. It should be to you, if you believe in the God of Abraham.

    thats it!...
    suffer the consequencies ...
    thats the mechanical device...
that God implanted in our brain...
so that He can pursuade us...
    in his wants...

    parang robot...
if it will not follow the program...

so wheres the free will there?...
free will is something that someone chose to do...

Galit ito sa Dios... Magingat ka sa mga sinasabi mo at baka maka-blasphemy ka dyaan, hindi pinapatawad ng Dios ang mga taong nangba-blasphemy against God and the Holy Spirit! Kaya kung ako ikaw eh magdahan dahan ka nalang and play safe... For your own good sake...
