  • ^Thats bosozoku (Japanese biker gang) style.
  • Did you see their video on youtube
    Hahahah
  • There's a tuning shop near where I live that is a favorite hangout of these guys. The cars may look wacky, but most of them are pushing 300HP minimum.
  • 300 hp? Thats hard for me to believe

Why not? There are a lot of powerful Japanese engines.

    Examples:

Nissan VQ35HR produces at least 300hp without a turbo. I don't have experience with this engine but I do have experience with its bigger brother the VQ37VHR which puts out 330hp stock.

Mitsubishi 6G75 Mivec produces at least 250hp without a turbo. I'm currently using this engine these days though not as a daily driver.

Toyota 2GRFE puts out 280 horses stock with no turbo. We're currently using this too as well as a 1MZFE with VVTi on an older car that produces 210hp stock.

Honda J36Y1 produces 278hp stock without a turbo. A friend of mine has this engine and it's great!

Just add a turbo or a supercharger and do a few tweaks to the engine and you'd be over 300hp easy.

A lot of cars are quite powerful these days. Even basic cars with 1300cc engines are running at least 80hp now.
  • I know that but im talking about this cars
It looks to me like tbey just added a bunch of stuffs and didnt tweaked the engine
Example like that car I posted what are those thing s on the hood is it an exhaust or a breather lol or something else
  • The body styling is reminiscent (but more exaggerated) of race cars of the Group 5 Special Production series of the 70s-80s, with large front and rear spoilers and wheel flares, loud paintjobs and of course the exposed oil cooler at the front. Despite all the power under the hood, most of them prefer to cruise along the highway in convoys. Also the owners are not the guys you would want to cross as some are connected to underworld groups or ultra-nationalists.

That is bosozoku for you. They're the Japanese version of the bikies who aren't to be trifled with.

hahaha... seems like you're talking as if these were just slap on parts. What garage are you affiliated with again? We have't even gone to forging, tuning, parts and labor that will cost you at least 5 grand minimum. Sure you can run stock engines with a turbo but like with all tuner vets they'll just tell you to wait a few kilometers for tye engine to blow out.

I know they're not slap on parts. Like any guy's hobby, you'd always need technical support and in this case, it'd be the garages. I'm not affiliated to any garages but I know a few of them. I don't modify my cars since I prefer having less maintenance which is why I just try to buy a car with a good engine. I'll PM you.
  • Same here I dont like to modify just buy something that is fast enough for you
