Here's mine for Fiba Asia 2017
    Center - Slaughter, Fajardo, Import
PF - Japeth, Almazan, (Sangalang or Chua)
    SF - Norwood, Lutz,
    SG - Lassiter, Parks, Chan
    PG - Tenorio, Castro, Romeo
Last spot - either a wing defender: Ferrer or a pass first point guard: Casio or RR

    Notable exclusions:
AVO - I think we're too top heavy with him
Alapag, Ping, RDO, Fonacier - age

    Notable inclusions:
Chua - Its just one game but he has shown he has range and can play with guys twice his height. We need at least one stretch 4. Sangalang was outmatched by Slaughter and Japeth what more in Fiba. If Ian shows he can play with the big guys and hit the open 3, the slot goes to him
Ferrer - We need good wing defenders who can shoot.
Chan - He's the oldest but I think he'll still be a reliable shooter.
Lutz - He can be a point forward with both slashing and shooting skills
Lassiter - Lights out shooter and good defender
4th PG - LA will be our main PG and Castro and Romeo the attacking PG. We need another set-up PG as backup to LA.

Gabe Norwood! How can you guys miss our best wing defender not to mention the most consistent player in FIBA Asia? The guy can play all positions except center and is only 28yrs old.

The problem is, by summer 2019, during the FIBA World Cup here in the Philippines Gabe would be 34 and LA Tenorio would be 36. Our young guns there would be the 21 yr old Kobe Paras and Tolentino and/or that Go guy from Xavier. Junemar and Greg and Japeth would be at the peak of the basketball maturity at that time. Same with Almazan and Sangalang, they would have already developed their court savvy and outside shooting by that time. Parks and AVO would be 27 then. We have a deep pool of young, tall, fast, talented, athletic and smart players for FIBA 2019. The fact that it would be held here would be another advantage. At least we could be sure that we will not be the whipping boys, with the help of the homecourt crowd of basketball crazy Filipinos.

    Gabe is old in 2019

^Thirdy Ravena is also a prospect for the 2019 FIBA World Cup. His older brother Kiefer is an undersized shooting guard at 5'10 for FIBA purposes. I think Thirdy is at least 6'2 and more athletic, and younger come 2019.

It's very obvious that Junmar is way way better than Greg. Even during their CESAFI days.

Alam mo ba sinasabi mo? This is regarding the Cesafi at hindi sa PBA.
And take note si Fajardo bago nag PBA, nag Asian Basketball League na yan. Si Greg straight form UAAP.

Si Greg lang ang nakagawa sa history ng Cesafi na in one season siya ang season MVP-All Star MVP at Finals MVP.

At tulad ng sabi ni Michael Jordan, it's not about individual merit, it's what you bring to the team. 5 games na natapos kay Greg sa PBA, 4 of that 5 games double-double siya both in points and rebounds.

Well on a side note.

Kabaligtaran po greg is better than junmar

Junmar is better than Greg offensively . But Greg is better than Junmar on defense .
Slaughter has higher IQ. Junemar is more skilled though and has better footwork.

The difference is Greg has Japeth.

Junmar has arwind santos. Minamaliit mo ba si MVP? Hahaha.

June Mar started later than Greg in playing bball. He is one year younger. Yet he has learned more skills than Greg. Being a fast learner is a big part of having high basketball IQ in my book.

For those who watched last Finals it was clear Arwind was the main reason why Petron lost. Nawawala laro niya in important games and crucial moments. Last game practically scored all the points in crunch time.
