Between sa Honda and Lancet ex. City nalang budget mo na 800+ highend na UN porma na *okay*

Okay.

    - Nissan Frontier (Std/Bravado)
    - Mitsubishi Strada 4x2 GL
    - Toyota Hilux J 4x2

You may consider the ff. chinese brands
    - Foton Blizzard 4x2
    - Great Wall Wingle 4x2
    - Foton Thunder 4x2

  • I terms of Sedan, kung porma hanap mo, bakit nabanggit si City hehe

Lancer EX vs Honda City definitely it goes to EX kung porma lang.

Overrated and overprice ang Honda satin. Well madami pa din namang hindi nakakamove on. :)

Being a pick-up owner before, I'd definitely go for a pick-up. Kung base model, it just gives you more room to fix it up and modify. :)

I'm the opposite. I would prefer getting the model that already has all the bells and whistles that I want attached. Nothing beats factory installed accessories. The downside to this is that the dealerships in Manila can be quite limiting on what they can offer.

If I were the TS, I'll save a little more and get the option that already has the modifications I want unless what you want is something that the dealership can really not provide.

My preference here also goes to the utility truck as it is more practical with the state of Philippine roads as well as the unpredictability of our weather.

Good luck with saving up. Might I recommend that you also wait after Christmas? Car sales usually go up around Christmas so dealers don't give as much freebies around this time as sales just walk through their doors. You're better off buying during their slow months when they're more aggressive with getting sales so they are more prone to giving more freebies.

Yep, to each his own really. ;)

If i had a Hilux J, I'd color key the front bumper and frame/outline of the grille, slap on OEM Toyota 17s or 18s with wide tyres, and add a OEM rear tail light with the built-in courtesy lamp.

BTW, from experience, bihira magpadiscount ang Toyota sa mga pick-ups nila (minimal compared to what they give for the Vios and Corolla).
  • @TS

    BANAWE PRICE
    ROLL BAR = 15K
    ROLLERLID = 32K
    MAGS+TIRE = 50K-100K (steel lang sa E)
    SIDE FLARE = 9k
    OTHERS (alarms,horn etc) = 8k

Did you have the old Ford Ranger? I had an old Ford Ranger and the F-150 and they both proved to be headaches in terms of cost of ownership and maintenance due to parts availability.
