    Hi friends! New PExer here. Since comments about Amtec Global Solutions are pretty scarce, I figured it wouldn't hurt to share my personal experience with this company.

    I emailed my application to Amtec Global Solutions last December 15. They called me immediately (about 30 minutes later). I passed the phone screening and was then invited to their office for an interview with the hiring manager on December 19. The interview was pretty chill; since it was a Saturday, there weren't many people around and the hiring manager and I had the whole conference room all to ourselves. She was very nice and engaging. I don't even remember most of the questions anymore; the interview went so smoothly and almost conversation-like that it was hard to separate the questions from the answers. They then called three days later to inform me that I passed and to make an initial job offer of sorts over the phone.

    Since I didn't have experience, they offered me their minimum basic rate, which is 15000. They also offered me a non-taxable allowance of 2000 (3000 if you have perfect attendance) plus 30% night differential. I was really impressed because most BPOs that I know offer only 20% night diff. or less. (do correct me if you know of other BPOs with the same or higher night diff.)

    What really sold me on the position, however, was the commission system. The main business of Amtec is recruiting people for their client companies (they're a US headhunting firm, in a sense), and making placements is crucial so they reward their employees for every placement they make. Thus, I can get commissions for every placement on top of my salary package. The amount depends on whether the placement is contractual or high-level. Commissions from high-level positions are bigger, of course, but they're one time big time. Commissions from contractual hires on the other hand can build up continuously because it is computed per hour that the hired person works for the company. So as long as your hire stays in the client company, you can keep earning commission from them! It's almost like the residual income that comes from downlines, in the context of a Multi-level Marketing business (more commonly known as "networking")

    Since I was impressed with the offer (not bad at all for a fresh grad with no full time working experience, though I did work as a RareJob tutor for roughly a year and a half), I immediately agreed. They then told me to give at least 2 references so that they can start with the reference check after the Christmas vacation is over. That went along without a hitch and 3 weeks later, they texted me to invite me for the final, live job offer! There will be formal training for 2 weeks before they actually put us on the floor. I wasn't able to ask if the training will be compensated normally or with a lower rate; will update as soon as I manage to confirm. My job offer is scheduled on January 15, Friday, 9pm and training will start on January 18, Monday.

    All in all, I was very happy with my application experience. They responded promptly and were very accommodating. Also, it seems that the office is rather intimate (it's not very big, but it isn't cramped either); you might like it if you prefer tighter-knit offices. At least I think it's a tight-knit office. We'll find out soon!

    - Utilize applicant tracking software to identify, track and retrieve candidates.
    - Prepare and maintain recruiting documentation reports for tracking applicant processing, applicant flow, cost-per-hire and recruiting effectiveness.
    - Develop and maintain strong consultative relationships with candidates and, in some cases, clients and Hiring Managers.
    - The Recruitment Specialist may, likewise, be asked to perform related duties and/or assist in other functions or projects incidental to the work described herein.

    LEAD VERIFICATION SPECIALIST

    Requirements:
    • Has completed at least 2nd year in college
    • Preferably with 6 months working experience in a call center setting
    • Fresh graduates are still welcome to apply
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Effective listening skills
    • Self-motivated and energetic personality
    • Punctuality and efficiency, with the ability to prioritize
    • Computer literate and has multi-tasking skills
    • Willing to work night shifts
    • Willing to be assigned at Ortigas Center, Pasig City
    • Job Description

    Lead Verification Specialists (LVS) are representatives who handle inbound and outbound calls. Calls are for multiple clients. The purpose of calls are to confirm requests made by customers online for various services. No angry customer service calls or sales calls.
