Birthday: November 25, 1992
Age: 20
BA Broadcast Communication student at the University of the Philippines Diliman.

Martin del Rosario met Jun Reyes, his manager, on his way to Lourdes School of Quezon City—--his highschool alma mater--—in the summer of 2007. Reyes, who was in the area at that time to buy lechon for Gerald Anderson's birthday, came to him and asked if he wanted to be an actor. He replied 'No' but Reyes left him a calling card and asked for his phone number. He gave Jun Reyes his mom's phone number. He then went to ABS-CBN for acting workshops. After this, he was launched as one of the new talents launched of Star Magic on its 15th anniversary last May 2007.

    Twenty year old Martin Del Rosario belongs to that welcome breed of heartthrobs blessed not only with good looks but also with good acting skills. Small wonder ABS-CBN, his home network, is grooming him to become one of its next, bankable leading men.

    Already, this member of Star Magic Circle Batch 15 has won two awards, both for his performance in the indie horror movie Dagim, Breakthrough Performance by an Actor at the 8th Golden Screen Awards,and New Movie Actor of the Year at the 27th Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for Movies.

    Projects poured in after Martin earned these honors. He landed roles in Rosalka, Juanita Banana, Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, Pintada, as well as in two horror movies, Amorosa, which also starred Angel Aquino and Enrique Gill, and The Healing, where he shared screen time with Vilma Santos and Kim Chiu.

    Asked about his reaction to ABS-CBN's big plans for him, Martin said: "Nakakatuwa, siyempre. Hindi ko naman feel na feel talaga. Pero at least, pinu-push ako ngayon at naa-appreciate ko naman. Nararamdaman ko naman, pero siyempre, hindi ko nilalagay sa utak ko. Hindi naman kasi ako ganoon." - #yes100mbs2013

    Father: Robert del Rosario

    Appeared in two films during his teen years, “Waywaya” and “Bagets,” albeit in small roles. Robert was being built up as a matinee idol, but his father put his foot down, “Study first.” Robert has an elder brother, Joey, who died of heart ailment a few years back at a relatively young age, 42.

    A landscape artist, Robert would rather forget his showbiz days. He accompanies son Martin now and then in taping and shooting, where he’s every so often asked to appear as a doctor or lawyer. But no thank you.

    Robert’s sister is TV newscaster Connie Sison, Martin’s aunt.

    Joey and Robert, known then as Del Rosario brothers.

    Mother: Tet Del Rosario

    Sister of character actress Ces Quesada.

    Tet is an executive of a big fruit juice company.
