New Ford Fiesta

Saw the new Ford Fiesta at a dealer earlier. Looked really nice (Aston Martin inspired) and feature packed.

Anybody tried this out yet? What are your thoughts?

well, they ditched the 1.4L and 1.6L engines in favor of the new 1.5L Ti-VCT engine (both sedan and hatchback), and a 1.0L Ecoboost Engine (for the hatchback only)

Maganda talaga ang Ford kaso good luck sa PMS.. I am really considering Ford nun kaso medyo kakasawa mga Japanese cars pero nun nabasa ko sa isang forum yun cost ng PMS, ayawan na. Try to study regarding this. Unless you are very knowledgeable on doing the PMS yourself.

wasn't thrilled about the fuel efficiency of the ecoboost engine. Sabi nga nila it maybe a 1.0L engine but consumes like a 2.4L. Well, partly becaise its a turbo and you have to redline it to get the most of the turbo. We drove one from manila to Baguio last week and my friend, the owner was very dissapointed. Kawawa naka 3 yrs to pay pa siya.

sorry na lang sa mga uupo sa likod kung matangkad yung driver. which happened to us. pareho matangkad yung driver at front passenger. wala ng space para sa mga nasa likod.

oo sure ako ecoboost yun. Nakalagay sa likod ecoboost eh end even the engine cover says ecoboost. May units na! They're just.employing the tactics like what toyota did with their fortuners kunwari wala daw stock or.di pa na la launch pero nakatambak lang sila lahat sa manila.

I also got to drive the fiesta ecoboost when I was in the UK for a month.. ok ok lang sya s
if you're the only passenger there and the traffic there isn't like the everyday traffic here in manila and most of the time you will be on country style roads halos wala trapik doon. Logic wise combining a 3 cylinder with a turbo on a car is never fuel efficient. Naalala ko *** hype dati ng focus and f150 ecoboost or even the explorer ecoboost.. i was one of the gullible people who purchased an explorer and focus only to be dissapointed by its very miserable gas mileage. All hype.
