Call from the dead

PAMPYPAMPY PEx Influencer ⭐⭐⭐
Nangyari na ba sa inyo Ito. Kasi this morning my cp rang, mga 6:45am. Wala sa phone book ko Ang no. When I answered, she said hello, and she sounded like my friend who died 3 days ago. Di pa ako nakakadalaw sa kanya

"Sounded like" is the key word. TS is still in mourning so the friend in his thoughts that's why he thought the voice is from departed friend.

It's called PROJECTION and is not unusual with grieving people.

  • Projecting for sure. It happened to me a few times after my girl was murdered. I would hear her voice in dreams or in a big crowd etc etc. It will stop in time its just takes time !
  • Parang yan yung sa mtv ni celine dion na Its all coming back to me now? Yan ba yung projection na tinatawag?

This is typical in Filipino culture.

The recently dead manifesting. Like 'we saw her stairs shortly before we heard she died' or 'heard her voice calling before the news came that she died' as if the 'dead' is trying to manifest itself one final time before death. Usually there's "she's wearing all white" or "she seemed quiet and sad".

Definitely a kind of psychological reaction to grieving and sorrow. Sometimes I'm sure it's a product of false memory, trying to justify a 'final goodbye'---you've convinced yourself something that really didn't exist in order to justify what you want to see or hear consciously (proven in case studies and research) .

Being able to say 'goodbye' is important in many culture. I've dealt with a lot of death and dying and from my experience, many cultures want and feel it's a right. I've had a man who's not seen his father in years, came in the late night just to see him because he felt like this could be the last time he would see him alive. He knew he wasn't dead yet, or even close, but he knew his father, an invalid and very sickly old man is due to die very soon. I've seen people trying to get in with a man surely dead thinking that they could somehow make a difference being there even right before they called his time of death. Or those stories of OFW's dead parents being in lamay for months, the body is badly decomposing just so the OFW could come home and be part of the burial.

Kinda similar to the minions of Pexer's with dilemma's of 'closure' in relationship, they want that ritualistic event to really hammer the nail of the coffin.

If they don't they feel guilty and left out, this mental stress on top of depression brought by a very sad event, creates hallucinations.

I hope I look good in my funeral,

My relative experience this one pero hindi talaga call from the dead yung tawag.

Nung tiningnan nya yung oras it was an hour passed after namatay sa stroke yung friend nya. It creeps me out kase nakita ko talaga yung message ng friend nya.:whatthe:
