^ marami pang kakaining bigas mga yan, pati masyadong lighweights. I like the other Penalosa, yung nanalo by bodyblow. Potential. Si boom boom wala, too slow imo. No disrespect as i admire boxers.

Btw, Im not counting nonito out yet. here's to hoping he learns to throw more combinations and learn to cut off the ring better.

Nonito lost one close fight against a good opponent. Don't count him out yet.......He will most likely move up in weight class....

But sana magtagumpay.

The rest i dont know, kasi walang mga one punch ko power. Casimiero is good but.. haist..hoping for the best nalang in Philippine boxing.

Definitely, I do not count Nonito out. In fact, he may still be a champion in upper classes. Baka nga maka at least 6 division champ sya. Pati si Villoria, magiging champion pa ulit yan. As for Pacquiao, Baka wag na talaga tayo umasa, Mahirap ang ginagawa nya, Artista, Pulitiko, Pastor, Commercial Indorser, Businessman, in addition sa pagboboksing.

Pinoy ba or foreign? No disrespect to local trainers pero.. unless pinoy boxers invest on top foreign trainers ala Freddie Roach, they won't succeed in the international scene.

Jonathan Taconing. That boy hits like a sledgehammer.
  • The Philippines still has one boxing world champion.

Donnie Nietes successfully defended his World Boxing Organization and The Ring magazine junior flyweight championship on Saturday, July 11 with a master-class boxing exhibition against mandatory challenger Francisco Rodriguez at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City, Philippines.

Nietes (36-1-4, 21 knockouts) of Murcia, Negros Occidental retained the title by the judges' scores of 115-113, 119-109 and 118-110 over Rodriguez (17-3-1, 11 KOs) of Monterrey, Mexico.

  • Most pinoy fighters today are from ala boxing.
