Divinity: Original Sin

For those of you who have played the divinity series(Divine Divinity, Divinity II: Dragon Knight Saga) and enjoyed it, the prequel is highly recommended. The timeline of the game is between Dragon Commander (889 BC) and the first Divine Divinity game (1500+AD).

To have more information on it, visit their official website: www.divinityoriginalsin.com/

Currently, they are at a campaign on Kickstarter and they are already funded.

The developers also have a game to be released on July called Dragon Commander. For more information about that game, visit: www.divinitydragoncommander.com/

Their Forums can be found here: www.larian.com/forums/

My overall opinion to the divinity series: The dialogues are hilarious and the open ended character creation (not fixated to any class) increases the replayability of the game. Beyond divinity is said to be one of the worse games, but I haven't played it so I don't have any input on it.

Happy gaming!

There is no such thing as original sin :belat:

Yan ang pinaka punyetang kosepto ng Christianity :belat:

Kapapanganak mo pa lang may kasalanan kana!? effin' bull~!

Ano yun, kasalanan mo na isinilang ka.... e kung tutuusin mga magulang mo ang bumuo sa'yo!?

Kung yung utang nga ng magulang na pinasisingil sa anak bawal na ngayon e yan pang nyetang original sin na yan :belat:
  • 1st one was great (divine divinity)
    never played beyond
Divinity 2 Dragon Knight Saga I enjoyed more than Dragon Age & Skyrim this gen

overlooked and very underrated series, like Gothic/Risen

Yes, that's the general consensus about Beyond. The developers were saying that Beyond is developed for the purpose of raising funds for their subsequent divinity series. It was published half baked.

Haha, sabi nila kasalanan ni eba at adan, kasalanan daw natin! Kumain lang naman ng mansanas eh. By the by, the storyline could pretty much be at par with the original sin concept of the bible, but I'm just speculating.

Hmm, the battle system of D:OS is Turn based. Again, very different from the prequels. The best thing about the game is that the developers will release an editor for modification purposes. I think the editor is pretty strong in regards to scripting.

Meanwhile, Dragon Commander is an RTS game. You can play as a dragon like in DKS and command your troops in an RTS system (Think Star craft II). A la Dynasty Warriors IMO.
  • UPDATE:

Divinity:Original Sin (D:OS) is now supporting pledging via paypal
You can also buy Dragon Commander (digital) by pledging additional $40 on your game (minimum of $25 pledge).

I'm currently pledged at $223.00. I really hope a lot of the stretch goals are met!

I'm anticipating DC more than D:OS because I like RTS.
  • The KS campaign is nearing its end. A lot of Youtube personalities is already promoting the game.
