i just saw today dito sa ortigas.. ano ba nangyayari sa japs design *****. wala na ba silang maisip na bagong design?.. sa engine naman, nothing special.. :(

it is an improvement from the previous gen...my only gripe is the price especially the 4wd variant. the exterior design is OK for me IMO.

its engine is also found on the current gen camry (2.5 dual vvti)

Yes price as well - mahal nung 4x4. Pero I actually like how it looks, except maybe they can change the tailights. One thing I noticed about jap designs eh they grow on you, panget sa simula then after a while ok na. Case in point - New CRV.

If I was in the market for a new compact suv, antayin ko na yung bagong forester. Or maybe outlander(but based on the pics, parang di ko gusto outlander).

while the 4x4 is absurd at about 2million, mayroon silang model na 4x2 that sells for just 1.4 million. the 2.5 liter engine is plenty powerful even for american highways.

the difference ng cheaper rav 4 is purely cosmetics, and yung engine start/ stop button which i could really care less about.

also it's Japan CBU. it's a big plus for everyone.

pila pila ito right now, and if you want to buy one, you need to shell out extra 100k for dvd entertainment add ons and leather covers. lol.

subaru xv is similarly priced.

Not a fan of the new one. It's gone the me-too route with the styling. My dad once had a 1997 three-door RAV4 and that chunky little thing was distinctive to look at; this looks like a mash-up of the Lexus CT200h (rear) and Mazda CX-5 (sides).

Supposedly better to drive though...but who buys SUVs for driving character?
