Will a Religion be popular if it preaches Universal Salvation?

What if there is a religion that preaches that everyone even outside of their faith will go to heaven? Would it be popular here in Pinas? Of course they may offer rewards whether heavenly or temporal when you join them, but the point is, they teach that people will not be thrown in a lake of fire and tortured eternally because of unbelief.
Btw, I'm not arguing that universal salvation is correct or not.

^ Which means that the status quo remains unchanged, because an xtian fundie already believes that a muslim fundie worships satan (and vice versa).0

Gotta say though it all depends on the methodology of preaching. While I think that the concept by itself may have considerable appeal (like I think most of the concepts put forward by all religions do), it still needs the preacher as a springboard to push the idea upon the people with verve. The idea is to drive it home as to make it as relatable to all of us so that it can catch on.
On another note, I think the concept of Universal Salvation is problematic though. It basically means that those who do preach the concept have no grounds to be respected, let alone be tolerated since we're all in the same boat from the start; everbody gets to ride. It spells doom for Christianity (provided that the concept is indeed preached) since the Resurrection isn't even needed anyway. Any religion that preaches this cannot be sustained. [You're not really arguing for it but you know. Just sayin']0 -
Mainstream Judaism, although it does not preach Universal Salvation, believes that non-Jews will also go to heaven provided that they obey the Seven Noachide Laws. You can get it from here:

Suppose they violated these laws consistently until death, they would indeed go to hell. BUT hell, or sheol, is only temporary. They suffer in two years, at the most, then they gain entry to heaven.
BUT other forms of Judaism like the Kabbalah, believes in Reincarnation. But it's from human to human only. It will continue until the Messiah's coming and ushering of the New Kingdom.

There is another Christian movement called Christian Universalism which I am researching on right now. They believe that this is the teaching of the early church fathers. The classic picture of hell does not exist. If there is punishment, it is temporary and meant to purify the offender. The "hell" Jesus used in his sermon is called "Gehennah" which is an actual dump site located in Jerusalem. Jesus forgives and saves both believers and unbelievers whether in death or in living.
This belief does not appear popular in Manila or perhaps elsewhere in the country. Bereans.net does not seem to classify this sect in their site.0
