A credit card agent called me up today offering Maybank Credit Card with lifetime waived annual fee. Limited lang daw ito, for pioneers only.
Pina-proceed ko ang application. He didn't ask for any requirements kasi nasa database na raw name ko.

Ok nga eh kasi may malapit rin na Maybank branch sa amin. If ever, madali na lang pagbabayad.
Sana magkaron pa sila ng ibang promos, lalo pa na malapit na rin ang Christmas season.
I think you have 50-50 chance of getting approved. They may consider kasi nga gold cards ka na sa ibang banks. Kaya lang walang nakalagay sa application form na space for previous employer, as in yung present lang ang kinukuha. Pero at least may total years working dun.
Pero try mo na rin. Sa website naman nila hindi naka-state na kailangan one year na sa current employer. Submit mo na lang ITR at 3 months payslip sa present employer. Isa pa taon na ang tinagal ng mga cards mo.
If I were you, I would apply straight to the bank. Di naman sa hindi ako nagtitiwala sa mga agents dahil ang pinsan ko thru agent din naman siya pero legit, yun nga lang sana accredited ng bank yung company ng agents. Mahirap na kasi mabiktima ng identity theft. Biruin mo yung info mo na tinatanong ng customer service para i-confirm kung ikaw nga yung caller eh nandun na rin sa form na ipapadala mo sa isang tao na di mo kilala.
Siguro kung may ads yung agent at maganda ang feedback niya tungkol sa credit card processing, try mo rin kung sa tingin mo ay okay naman. Minsan din kasi nagagawan nila ng paraan na ma-approve ang isang applicant kahit medyo malabo ang approval.

Anyway, parang ang tagal ng process nila. Wala pa rin update yung application ko. 2 weeks na wala pa rin CI. Baka naman kaya declined ako? Saan kaya pwede mag-followup?
Akala ko ako lang ang wala pang update, pati po pala ikaw idol X_X
Nung makumpleto ko ang requirements, mga 4 na beses nagsend sa'kin ng confirmation na sent na daw sa proper department and application ko.

Yup, new thread. At least focused lang sa credit card services ng Maybank.
Ako kaka-inquire ko lang kanina. October 8 daw nila na-receive yung documents ko. 10-15 banking days daw ang processing time kaya I was advised to call again tomorrow.
may nag CI na sayo? ako kaka submit ko lang ng application ko nung monday through email and nag call ako sa kanila today to ask if na receive nila yung application ko at sabi n receive daw. tawag lang daw ako after 10-15 banking days. sana ma approve ako dahil gusto ko yung free annual fee for life. its so exciting! wala pa akong gold card at gold yung inaplayan ko. na fe-feel ko tuloy na hindi malaki yung chance ko na ma approve kasi yung reference ko lang ay yung sa BDO CC ko na 1 year and 2 months pa lang with 25k cl. nilagay ko nalang din newly approved CC ko from HSBC na 76k yung limit. nagbabaka sakali lang.
May tumawag na sakin, dalawang beses na actually, pero first week pa yun ng October. Pag ata may ibang credit card na one year na, malaki chance na maapprove. Sana maapprove tayo!
