ang taas na ng mileage for a 2006 car.. usually ang basic tips sa pag buy ng second hand is dapat below 90k.. mukhang bugbog yan knowing na ginamit din ng sales agent..
If the seller can show a comprehensive service history showing regular maintenance, then mileage is not really a problem. I would rather get a well-maintaned daily driven car than a raced-out trailer queen.0 -
The mileage is high but if it was regularly serviced at Honda and if there is no history of accidents, then I think it should be ok. In the service history, you would see what parts have been replaced. By now, the brakes, suspension, belts, auxiliary fan and all filters should have been replaced. The aircon should also have been taken apart and completely cleaned. All 4 tyres should also have been replaced at least twice with that mileage.
Is the interior still intact? Did the driver of the vehicle smoke? Smoking would cause the ceiling material to darken prematurely. How's the carpet? Any damp odour from it? Are the tools still all there?
Remember, just because it was maintained at the dealership doesn't mean it was maintained well. The owner of the car can still choose what repairs are to be done on their car. The good thing about maintaining a car at the dealership is that they can run a complete diagnostic check on it and they would have all the tools required for servicing it.
Good luck!0 -
If you calculate it, 17,000kms per year is okay for a daily driven car. Is this vehicle used more on the highways or in the city? Mas matakot ka sa mga low mileage cars with doubtful histories. Just check the suspension and the automatic transmission. If service records are complete and there's no history of major accidents then that's a good buy na. Just budget another 20K for a general service and minor repairs.0

It's actually owned by the company where I work.
Every 5 years, nagpapalit ng sasakyan yung mga sales agents. Tapos binebenta sa emloyees. To qualify to buy the car, dapat naka-5 years na sa company yung employee. E ako na ang next in line at yung Civic na yun ang natoka sa akin.
Earlier this year, Jazz ang binenta for 230K.
Sort of incentive na din sa employees kaya discounted.
Yup, 4 months ago lang yung huling service sa Honda.
Though as per our driver, may tumutunog daw sa makina. I'll request to have it checked muna ulit.0 -
Mileage is 107K (as it was used by a sales agent), serviced regularly at Honda. It's actually owned by the company where I work.

I would assume since its company owned eh regular at on schedule PMS nyan, though mahirap lang sa company owned di alaga aesthetically minsan. Kasi nga naman papalitan naman in 5 years kaya ok lang maging dull yung paint.0 -
