Bad Feedback on People's General Insurance

Just want to share my bad and very disappointing experience in claiming from People's General. I'm already the second owner of a Mazda 3 unit and the original owner left the policy along with the unit. It is effective until october 2012. When I called the claims department of people's gen way back last year, they didn't tell me na kelangan ng endorsement before I can make a claim. They just told me to present the deed of sale and so all the while I thought I don't need to chase the original owner para magamit ko *** policy niya.

To cut the story short, I made a claim two weeks ago, submitting all the listed requirements from their site. I followed up today only to find out that my claim is denied because of the ownership legalities. And parang wala pa silang plano na i-inform ako!

My point is, I don't know that there's this process na I need to inform them that I'm already the new owner. Second, looks like their staff are not trained to get their facts straight. They don't even know na kelangan ng endorsement papers, etc (even the partner casa Mazda Quezon ave doesn't seem to know). Third, they should have informed me before making a decision para sana man lang nagawan ko ng paraan.

I'm not sure if it's a lapse on my end but I'm very disappointed with how my claim went. Even if hindi ako ang nagbayad nun, nakakapanghinayang pa rin na na-put lang into waste ang binayad ng original owner.
