Hi guys, I have a serious problem where in I have already signed a job offer in a company which states that if when I signed the the offer I must continue with their company, else I have to pay 120000 as a damage to their company.
When I signed the job offer, I still have some pending appication with another company. I wasn't expecting to pass from my pending application so I signed the job offer already. But I received a call from another that company and they said that I passed. Their offer is much bigger, times 1.5 from the first company and it is also one of the best I.T company so I really want to take the last offer instead of the first one that I signed.
Can I still decline the first job offer to me? How serious is it if I do that. Makasuhan ba ako? Ano possible na maging implication kapag hindi ko tinuloy yung napirmahan ko ng job offer. Although, I havent signed a job contract, only the job offer, they say that I still have to sign n job contract. Ano po kaya magandang gawin?

I suggest you consult a lawyer.
There's an employment bond. So I can't resign when I already started. :(
Kaso dun sa pinirmahan kong j.o, nakalagay dun na I need to pay 120000 if I dont continue eh. Sabi din ng HR eh *** provision ng pinirmahan ko is already effective although hindi pa ako nakakapagsign ng job contract.

hindi pa eh,, nakaschedule ako this week to pass the requirements eh, so in person ko na lang sasabihin pag kasubmit ko ng requirements. sana pumayag....
ahh.. tuesday pa lang ngayon bro. Baka gusto mo ireconsider, pwede mo na sila iinform ngayon na di ka tutuloy sa kanila, that way, baka mareconsider pa nila yung ibang applicants na na-turn down dahil sa pagpili nila sayo. Pwedeng magkaron ng rippling effect (haha too much Fringe) sa fate ng ibang candidates (sabi ko na nga ba I'm watching too much Fringe). Seriously, baka gusto mo lang naman iconsider na iinform sila in advance.
Well, sa pagkakaintindi ko, since I accepted the J.O. They had to close their job post for that position and would not entertain any application anymore. Pero since nag backout ako, damage daw sa company yun so ayun yung reason ng 120000.
Pero when I searched sa jobstreet eh, andame pa din namang nakapost na same position dun. hmm...
It would wise to inform the first company that you are considering an offer to an another company in advance (You don't need to tell them what company it is.) I'm sure they have someone else in their database they are also considering so they could contact that person.
