Dongfeng-Honda has introduced the Ciimo sedan specifically for the Chinese market – if the shape in the photos look familiar, it is; the Ciimo is pretty much the eight-generation Civic, repackaged for China.

The car – which made its debut in Beijing – is available in only one engine variant form, this being the 1.8 litre i-VTEC, mated to either a five-speed manual or five-speed auto transmission. Kit includes ABS with EBD and active headrests.

P1.4 million yung foton na nasa picture. pwede na sa big family and alternative sa Hiace (kung hindi mo kaya ang SRP ng Hiace)

meron din ang toyota nito, pero very rare lang dito sa PH since SWB ang offering lang nila dito.

BTW, I saw a gasoline powered Hiace high roof (no plates pa ang with LTO sticker) sa San Miguel Compound.

I would avoid buying chinese made knock offs for now. The metalurgy of the engine is questionable. Baka 50k mileage lang kelangan na overhaul yan. Maybe china will really catch up on quality after say 5 years, this is a chilling scenario. I am sure car manufacturers fron japan, korea, europe and the US is worried about this.
But one thing I like about china is they are already making electric cars on their own. In a way I am cautiously optimistic on what china will produce in the next few years.

AFAIK, yung Iseway Motors na dating distributor ng Chery, wala na. bago na ang may-ari ng Chery sa PH. Chery Motors Philippines na.

low quality pag China.... i will never trust them lalo na sa safety concern. wag na lumayo, example pa lang mga celfone chargers at christmas lights na maaring maging sanhi ng sunog at ng iyong kamatayan.
i am sure bigla bigla na lanfg magliliyab yang china made vehicle na yan sa gitna ng edsa.

I know someone who was able to buy a Foton Van (don't know the model) recently at 800K PHP, according to him the engine is from Isuzu. It looks like a Hi-ace.

are you referring to this image below?



pero I don't know if the engine is from Isuzu, since the engine as per specifications is a 2.8L 4-cyl CRDI Diesel Engine

speaking of Hi-Ace look-a-like, eto din, ka-look-a-like. at marami na rin ito sa daan as a UV express service.
