problems noticed on 2012 toyota avanza

anyone here na may kakilala or owner ng 2012 avanza E? ive noticed kasi lately. yung stereo ng car matagal mag start. once i pressed the "on" button, hindi sya nag start up esp if matagal kong hindi magamit ang car, say mga 5days. i think, mag "on" sya mga after 10mins pa kahit ilang beses ko nang ulitin i-on ang stereo. pero after na mag start sya, at i off ko ulit, ok naman.before hindi ko naman na experiece ito e. (fyi, i seldom use my car, mostly on sat and sun only) ive already experience this twice na, last kaninang umaga. anu kaya yung prob nito guys? pa help pls. thanks

Ibalik mo sa casa at ipakita mo sa kanila ang problema, under warranty pa iyan ... common sense lang....

There's probably wrong with the electrical system or the stereo unit itself, have it checked.

Probably a loose connection at the least. The dealer should fix it free of charge when you go in for servicing.

Don't you find it perplexing that the Avanza has no cigarette/AC plug?

thanks sa mga sumagot. dinala ko na kanina sa toyota bacolod. mga saturday ko nalang balikan daw. yan din diagnosis nila eh, yung electrical system nya daw.

regarding the cigarette plug, ayos lang. i dont smoke naman e.

Sisiw problema mo sir, its not a major headache if you think about it compared to engine knock like on the accent or sudden acceleration ala montero.

Good that you're a non smoker too.

Yeah, it has a USB port but for some guys who plug their Ipods, GPS, etc., they still look for the a/c outlet.

We have a usb port and ac outlet on our city, we rarely use the ac cause most of our gadgets can be charged by usb, including ipod.

But knowing toyota, i bet they can install an outlet for a premium price.

meron naman syang provision for the AC plug eh. but i seldom use it. i still prefer the usb port kasi no need to use the cd player na.

i'm just quite concerned magkanu kaya magpalagay ng rear visor (yan ba ang tawag dun?) at yung fog light? (unahan ko nalang ha, yung iba dyan sasabi ng di itanong sa casa or sa market?)

until now, toyota didnt resolve my problem about my stereo. hindi talaga sya mag "on" sa umaga. u need to press the reset. haizzz!!!

i'm planning to buy a new car within the next month or so and the avanza e 1.3 m/t is on the top of my list due to budget reasons.

musta na performance nya?

consistent pa din ba yung FC nya? I think around 9-10km/l at city driving or about 13-14km/l at high way driving?

do you use the dual aricon a lot ba? does it have a big effect on engine performance?

ok naman sya. i'm sorry but im not really into looking sa FC. may gas allowance kasi ako from company. hhehehe. yung complaint ko lang na sabi ng toyota normal sya, may vibration sa gas pedal at 2500rpm. parang nasanay narin. hahaha.pero ok talaga sya. i'm on my 11200km na since jan 14 2012
