Mazda 3 - okay po ba?

Hello,

Balak ko pong bumili ng car na second hand, may nakita po ako na Mazda 3 1.6L 2011 model. Around 620K siya and 2k pa lang ang mileage.

Tanong ko lang po:

1. Fuel economy - matipid po ba sa gas ang Mazda 3?
2. Maintenance - mahal ba mag-maintain ng ganitong kotse saka mahirap ba humanap ng parts?
3. Handling and safety - okay po ba idrive saka safe din po? Marerecommend niyo po ba siya for someone na nagwowork sa Makati?

    Bakit niyo po nasabi? Ang hirap kasi maghanap ng second-hand Civic na mura eh. Ano pa po pwede nio marecommend na nasa 620K range lang?

    Sarcasm iyong akin dahil maraming mga HONDA FANTARDS dito na alam lang Honda Honda Honda. Pasensya na.... :glee:

    Ayos iyang Mazda 3. Guwapo. Pinakamaganda ang handling at stability niyan kumpara sa ibang compact cars. Fuel economy: nagkakatalo iyan sa driving style mo at driving conditions.

    Bago ako nagpalit sa Hyundai i30 para sa anak ko, Mazda 323 Astina na predecessor ng Mazda 3 ang sasakyan ko halos 14 taon.
    Wala akong naging problema sa sasakyan na ito.

    I wont say na "honda nalang" tulad ng ibang hambog jan na baduy ang taste sa kotse na itago nalang natin sa pangalan na
    "my 2 cents". :rotflmao: Maraming choices jan sa budget mo na yan , Mazda di ako sure pero ang alam ko e di ganun karami ang pyesa, pero pwede narin. Di ganon ka tipid ang mazda 3 tho ok din naman design nya , yun nga lang ang alam ko e may lalabas na new design ata ng mazda 3 since matagal na yang model na yan.. Pero para sakin da best parin ang mazda 6! hehe

    other cars that i'd recommend:
    08 and above Altis (new face na)and 08 onwards civic. pwede rin lancer 09 onwards jan, yung hindi pa ex, at 09 na city 1.5

    Kung di ka concerned sa gas isama mo narin sa listahan mo ang camry at mazda 6.

    Kasya din yan sa brand new na vios , city at lancer (not the ex model). 1.3 engines nga lang yung vios at city, yung lancer 1.6 na non mivec engine.

    Handling: The Mazda 3 is has very good steering feedback and feel if you enjoy driving.

    FC: Not the most economical 1.6L and not the most powerful either. The 1.6 version is a little underpowered as some may say. It does around 7-8km/L in city driving from what i hear (have not confirmed this yet).

    Design is also getting old; take note that the new 3 has been out in other markets since 2008/09 if i'm not mistakened. It's due for release locally sometime this year so expect the resale value of your vehicle to drop significantly.

    It's a good car pa rin but the value is already suspect due to the age of the current model we have. I almost bought a slightly used one a month ago (2011 model) but i lost out on the bid and decided to get a new Corolla instead.

    If he buys it right now, hindi pa pabor sa kanya. Yung 620K second hand model that he's looking will lose around 100K as soon as the new model is launched later this year. If waits a few months, chances are he can get the same model for around 500K+ more (or less if he's lucky).

    sa looks... till now gusto ko parin siya... pero dami nga bad comment sa gas consumption niya. kahit yung ka officemate ko yun ang comment niya..

    walang problema sana sa gas consumption basta ok ang power. kaso malakas na siya sa gas, di rin naman ganun ka lakas ang power nya.. I'd rather go for mazda 6 kung malakas din lang ang consumo. =))

    at this point in time hindi pa pabor sakanya dahil mataas pa ang value since 1 yr old palang ang mazda na yun. tsempo palabas narin ang new mazda 3 within this year DAW. lugi na if he's going to buy it now.

    Problema mo sa mazda sa sobrang konti sa pinas mahirap ang pyesa. Matataga ka lang sa banawe. Kung sa casa ka naman bibili ng parts usually inoorder pa. Hindi sila nagstock dito.

    Yung mga iba nag-aadvice jan kagay ni manong 2 cents nasa second childhood stage na yan. Wala sya sa pilipinas so hindi nya alam situation dito.

    Pag first car mo ito mas ok bilhin mo yung marami ka nakikita sa kalsada ng pilipinas para hindi ka mahirapan sa parts. Punta ka sa tsikot.com para makita mo kung sino ang car na wala gaano problem.

    The problem of the 1.6 is the power to weight ratio. The 2.0 isnt that far of in terms of FC and on the highway, i saw some figures that the 2.0 can get even better mileage than the 1.6.

    Mazda parts arent much of a problem. There are several shops in Banawe that cater to the Mazda and Ford brand. The fact also that it sold relatively well and had a long model lifespan locally, there is a demand for parts.

    I see. Another example is the xtrail. some achieve better FC results with the 2.5 than the 2.0. :)

    I think there is a shop in banawe catering to mostly mazda and ford. That would be a great substitute with the casa if they don't stock parts here. I'd love to have the mazda6 or the cx7.:lol::lol:

    ok yan mazda 3 basta di laspag. medyo mahal pa nga e. but less than 2,000kms ok na rin. check mo papeles. ito sure ko mahal ang pyesa nyan at medyo mahirap hanapin. pati shock absorber niya sa likod mahal.mahal as in malayo sa presyo ng toyota. Pero maganda ang mukha ng mazda 3

    Hello po. Sorry ngayon ko lang nabisita 'to ulit, di ko na tuloy masyado nabasa mga inputs ninyo.

    Update lang, actually sort of nabili ko na yung model. Let's just say mejo napasubo ako kasi may deadline yung bidding.

    So ang tanong ko na lang po is ano sa tingin ninyo ang kailangan ko malaman and i-prepare as owner ng model na 'to?
