I am planning to buy a medium SUV by April or May....I've narrowed down my search to the following:
Hyundai Santa Fe
Hyundai Tucson
Subaru Forrester
I would like to ask your opinions as to which of them would be a better choice.....please include in the maintenance and gas mileage factors....
Thanks!

The only reason that i'd buy a subaru is its 2.5L Turbo charged boxer engine. Kung diesel rin lang, no thanks. =D0

I like the forester XT, engine and design-wise...pero yung 4-speed medyo turn-off.
Wala yung choices ko dyan but the three of them has had rave reviews...siguro test drive mo nalang bro.
Personally I'll wait for CX-5(crossing my fingers kung kaya skyActiv sa atin) and maybe Ford Escape 2012 and Subaru XV. Bibili rin ako second or third quarter. Or maybe I'll wait for the Trailblazer, sabi 4th quarter daw.0 -

Because Subaru is known for its legendary 2.5L turbo-charged boxer engine. It's been used in rally races as well as in and out of different tracks. Though if their diesel engines could do those too and enter the wrc , then I'd open my doors to their diesel engines as well.
Subaru + 2.5L turbocharged = great car
BUT
Subaru + Turbocharged diesel = Perfect ( If their diesel' capabilities are that near to the gas variant)

mukang sa torque lang siya similar. kulang pa para makatapat ng 2.5L.Pwede narin kung di ka pala-hataw.
