Final 4 DLSU MVT vs FEU MVT

DLSU MVT is hoping to get back in to the finals, something that its female counterpart has achieved overwhelmingly this year, however the back to back 1st runner up from Morayta would of course want to bag the title this year.

FEU seemingly has the advantage having the twice to beat edge plus the finals experience, however DLSU is hungry this time and will make sure that their match up this Wednesday will not be a walk in the park for FEU.

last time they met in the 2nd round of eliminations, FEU had to beat DLSU in 5 sets which means that the squad of coach sammy should not be taken lightly.

FEU needs a very good performance from its veterans headed Labrador, Avila and its setter De Ocampo. on the other hand DLSU will rely on Vega and S72 ROY Antonio.

Despite the loss of Macasaet, DLSU can still match-up FEU. It was a tough match for FEU when they trounced the G. Archers in the 2nd round edging the former in 5- sets, 20-25, 25-20, 20-25,25-19, 15-11. But as the TS mentioned, Morayta based spikers have the edge. Why? I have to give it to FEU setter’s Karl De Ocampo who delivered an exemplary performance on their last game with AdU. He showed leadership in 3rd set when they almost lost the game. Great serve, sets & few attacks. None other UAAP setter can do that.
Oh well, I don’t have no option but to praise him since my own UP MVT is now out of contention after few years in final 4 haha.

After suffering 2 straight championship defeats against UST,
FEU will try to end the skid this season should they win against a tough Green Spikers team later on for their 3rd consecutive finals appearance..

My prediction: FEU in a close 5-set match..
