Is CAP College a good school?

Is CAP College a good school? If you graduate from this school, do you get great job opportunities? I am planning on taking BS Marketing at CAP College. If ever I graduate with a BS Marketing course at CAP College, will I get good job opportunities?

CAP College isn't a traditional type of school. It is a distance learning provider where you study at home based on your own time and pace. In short, CAP College isn't really a school, but a distance learning program.

The value of a BA or BS degree from CAP College is almost the same value of a BA/BS degree earned from a 3rd-tier university like Adamson, NU, MCU or World Citi Colleges. Nowadays, unless you come from the Big-3, employment prospects rely heavily on connections, especially if you seek to be employed at a well-established company.

Don't doubt! Cap College is a good school. I already have my BS degree and currently taking up my second course there. I enrolled last year and am expected to graduate this May. Yes, I will be finishing my second course less than a year. What I am trying to say is the 'CAP advantage. There, you'll be deciding your own pace, unlike sa mga traditional schools kung saan kailangan mong tapusin ang semester kasabay ng mga classmates mo. Dito, kung mabilis at magaling ka (we can't deny the fact that there a too good students who can advance faster that their peers), matatapos ka agad! There, you will also develop discipline which you need to enforce strictly. Walang magsasabi sa'yo na mag aral ka; you have the time on the palm of your hands (unless working student ka). If you don't have discipline, you not for CAP. However, I don't recommend taking BS degree there kasi kailangan nya ng hands-on learning style. For those who are planning to enroll, I hope this helps!*okay*

Dito rin ako nag graduate last year.

Question, so it would all depend on how fast you study? If I plan to take up a second degree, ano yung average time na matatapos mo yung course? And roughly how much ang magagastos?

It depends on how fast you can finish the modules of each subjects. Example in one subject normally 5 modules. kung matapos mo siya sa loob ng isang buwan including the final exams...i mean nasasayo yun ...kung kaya mo tapusin sa loob ng isang linggo eh d mas maganda :).

The tuition fee is 1K per unit sa undergrad na mga course.

Ah gets so ibig sabihin you can take one subject at a time hindi required yung maraming subjects basta matapos mo ang mga modules.

tama ka. pwede ka mag enroll ng isang subject lang kung yan lang ang kaya ng bulsa mo and at the same time ng oras mo. Ito yung kinaibahan ng CAP compare sa ibang open university. Sa ibang OU kailangan matapos mo siya within the semester that you enroll. Mayroon ding deadline yung mga assignment! Eh kaya nga OU kasi naka design to sa mga tao na walang constant na free time sa schooling. Also sa mga working student or mga ulirang OFW katulad ko hindi talaga pwede ang ganitong system. Ang kagandahan pa nito kasi for example bakasyun ka sa work ng 1 month, eh pwede ka mag tudo focus ng aral pwede mo matapos ang 3-4 subjects (kung talagang inspired ka :) )...or kung sa middle east ka during ramadan time mahaba ang non working hours pwede ka mag double time aral.

Question again, since im planning to take up my second degree... Eligible pa rin ba ako grumaduate with honors kung isasama yung mga units na natake up ko dun sa 1st course ko? Also, pwede bang ulitin yung mga subjects na hindi maganda yung grades ko para tumaas yung average ko para sa second course? Hehe... Im aiming to graduate with honors kasi eh. :-)

yes it is possible, basta wala kang lower grades than 2.0 dun sa first undergraduate mo. by the way, mababa ang equivalent ng 2.0 sa kanila which is 85%. in my my case, i have reached the average of an honor student but still i am not qualified because i have incomplete grades during my first undergrad.

Ah, what if ulitin ko yung mga subjects na mababa yung nakuha ko para maging eligible ako for honors? pwede kaya yun?

i think it is not possible because your previous would not be replaced by the new grades if ever. ibig sabihin eh andun parin yung mga mabababa na grades. pero tanong mo din. go to their website and ask the registrar's office through e-mail, mabilis naman sila magreply.
