Anong meron ang BIR na wala sa ibang government agencies at private firms? aside from the corruption!:rotflmao: why would anyone want to work?

    Let's not generalize.

simple question and also a simple answer "money" no other reason just MONEY!
  • tama! puro kurakot lang ang habol ng mga yan!

Aray ko... I'm working in a private company and dont have any relatives in BIR. Those statements mentioned above does not help in anyway. If you happened to know anybody doing not the right thing, why dont you file a case and challenge them in the court of law.

At your own personal expense & inconvenience?:bop:
  • I really cant think of any.. :))
  • As far as the assessment division is concerened, collectively they are corrupt. Maybe there are few honest individuals, but they work as a group so whether you like it or not you will accept money otherwise pagiinitan ka.

Again, let's not generalize. Huwag natin lahatin, im sure there those who are honest government employees. Maybe few in numbers but still they exist. And I agree that if you're really sure of what's going on, that's if you have proof, then you're free to file a case it's a free country, OR IS IT? *okay*

wala akong personal exposure sa ahensyang toh, but then I know someone very well na nagwowork dito...

tama sila! HINDI LAHAT NG TAGA-BIR AY MANDARAMBONG!

yun nga lang, may isa silang department na tinatawag nilang "MGA PINAGPALA", sila kasi yung kumbaga, yung kurakutan dept ng BIR... malakas nga daw talaga ang dugasan sa department na yun, kasi yung client mo eh nakikipag-ugnayan sa yo para lang mareduce yung tax na kukunin mo sa kanya... but shemperds! at a price... your conscience... but then, at least, you have the MONEY naman daw...

malakas daw talaga magkapera dito... pwede kang maging milyonaryo every year if masipag kang talaga...

ever since narinig ko ang istoryang yan, I became fully aware kung bakit nagkanda-leche-leche ang lagay ng bayan naten...

pero minsan, di mo rin sila masisisi... kasi naman SOBRANG LIIT ng sahod ng mga taga-BIR (as of 2010 starting is CPA:14000, ATTY:22000).. tapos pag may meeting pa with their client, eh sila pa ang gagastos kahit sa five star hotel pa yan... para bang nakaset-up na sa kokote ng mga taga-gov't na yan, na "TUTAL MANGGANGANTSO DIN NAMAN SILA, LIITAN NA LANG NATIN SAHOD NILA". which is very wrong since BIR is supposed to be a revenue-producing agency of the REPUBLIC, at sobrang stressful pa ang work nila... so kelangan eh mag-allot naman ng nararapat sa kanila, para naman ganahan silang magtrabaho ng marangal at tapat...

working on government? the advantage is you have a balanced time with your family, friends and work unlike in private , competition is tough, everyone is forced to excel, spending a lot of time in improving their job performance for promotion and rewards,

by the way , it depends on you, if you can excel in your work without taking the time spending with your family and friends, and other activities aside from your work., its better for to work in private because working in government, specially as BIR examiner can cause your life if you don't commit yourself to participate in its "system" :D
