[HELP NEEDED] Where can I buy 2nd hand cars

Hi Folks! I hope this is not a stupid question but I would like to ask - where is it best to buy second hand cars? I've been lurking sa Sulit and Tsikot for quite some time pero hindi pa rin ako makakita. Also, is it safe to buy sa car dealers given the reputation that some might have already done their "deed" to sell their car.
I'm actually looking for Honda City 2010 AT 1.3 S Habanero Red. My budget is 600k. Thanks in advance!

Wala naman silang naging problema sa sasakyan but after 3 years binenta din nila and bumili ng Elantra.

I usually refer to the Manila Bulletin classified ads on Sundays for second hand cars.
When buying second hand, it really takes time and patience since you would want to avoid a potential headache.
Tall order you have there since not much people will still be selling a car of that model and age. Try looking also into purchasing a brand new unit.0 -
Hello All,
Thank you and I appreciate all your responses. As much as I want to buy a brand new car, ayokong magdagdag ng cash dahil it will entail me to use my savings. Iyong 600k kasi, I will just loan it from the company and I don't want to hit the ceiling amount of 645k para mababa lang din ang monthly deduction.
On the other side, I am thinking of getting an Accent AT but I am afraid of its engine knock issue.
Ayun, thanks for all your feedback and if may maisusuggest pa kayo, feel free to post them - other car brands, trustworthy car dealers or if my kilala kayong nagbebenta mismo.0 -
Try checking this out. 2009 model but its a 1.5L and priced within your budget,

I used to work for BPI Leasing/Rental Corporation, partly handling return of leased vehicles. The vehicles are not really repossessed, but rather returned due to the end of the lease (usually 3 years old, pero some return vehicles earlier). Try calling 845-5092 and ask for a list of their returned cars. Usually, maaayos yung mga returned cars, save for the wear and tear.
You can also look at one of BPI's warehouses in East Service Road, Cupang, Muntinlupa. The lot is beside the Shell Canvas Building there.
Good luck in your hunt!0 -
Hi all, thanks for the options. I'm still looking for City but now also thinking of getting a brand new accent, iyong 1.4L A/T. What do you guys think of Accent? I've read about Engine Knock so medyo nagdadalawang-isip ako.
Happy Holidays!0 -

May I know where did you buy your car?
And sorry for the question as I really know nothing about cars, what are the usual sira?
Thanks in advance and happy Holidays.0 -
Hi All,
Sorry but would like to seek for your help again. Until now, I haven't been able to find a car to buy. :(
Anyway, I saw this post in sulit.
I am interested in the car but the thing is, the owner is a foreigner, specifically Iranian. The reason why he wants to sell his car is because he wants to go back to his country. I was able to talk to him na sa phone and medyo okay naman siya kausap.
However, medyo cynical ako with the thought of visiting his place to check the car, alone. I know its bad to judge pero ayun, can't help but have a little worry about my safety since iyong kilala kong mekaniko ay laging hindi sumasagot and I'd really want to see the car.
Now the question is, is it safe to transact with foreign people / expatriates for cars?
Thanks in advance!0 -

IPAMIGAY? IHULOG SA BANGIN? SUNUGIN? Common sense naman po!kenshin_roxanne wrote: »I am interested in the car but the thing is, the owner is a foreigner, specifically Iranian.
