Problem of Just Wage

A just wage as defined by the Catholic Church is the legitimate fruit of work. It is a remuneration that is enough to support the wage-earner in reasonable and frugal comfort.

How can you define a fair wage? What are the factors that you need to consider upon formulating "the just wage"?

Your thoughts please... :hmm:

Was the word "frugal" really needed in the definition?

Well, got the definition from a local authored Business Ethics book. ;)

I'll actually be reporting on Just Wage that's why I wanna know your thoughts. :hmm:
  • the only way that this wage could be viewed as just is from the perspective of the employer.

Anyway, the ruling class are employers themselves. what can you expect.

At any rate, it could be a just wage to those who have no plans in life. Yung mga palaboy, yang wage na yan, happy na sila. But for those who aim to have a humane existence, such wage is just enough for their merienda.

A just wage in short is only for miryenda of those people who are living as human being.
