nag-awol ako in this company and syempre hindi ko siya dineclare. are there any ways na mkita nila yun in my contributions? like SSS, BIR etc.? ang dineclare ko lang is yung previous company bago yun.

please help me guys. Thanks!!

hmm, kung like let say umabot ka ng mga more than 6 months sa company, then magrereflect sya sa SSS mo unless na yung company is late magremit ng mga contributions or hindi nagreremit at all.
  • mico_07mico_07 Member PExer

NO. You're safe. My current (oh, and the previous) employer is known to be the *toughest* company there is when it comes to background checking and they never figured out that I went AWOL in the past. Just don't declare it on your CV and avoid giving out references that are connected to your previous employer(s).

really? *sigh* what a relief. i dunno, maybe i'm just that paranoid comes submission of requirements. thanks for replying btw. :D

they will know if they really wanted to check. pero if hindi naman big deal yun sa new company mo relax lang. ako nga awol before pero dinedeclare ko eh .. nyahahahaha. pero siyempre aware narin ako sa mga company na mahigpit sa background check like JPMORGAN, HSBC and the likes.

regarding sa SSS, according to my friend who worked as a third party background checker, wala sila rights makita yun since confidential talaga to. before daw meron.

  • batman03batman03 Member PExer

Wala rin akong nakuhang uniform or something.

I don't think this should become an issue at the point of the interview although they'll probably ask about the gaps in your employment record. Not having a job for an extended period of time looks a bit worse than citing a bad company or being discovered to have omitted it intentionally.

Not everyone does thorough enough background checks to dig up your complete employment history so I don't necessarily see this as a bad thing. Your resume should present the experience the best fits the job you're trying to get into - just be prepared to explain what's not on the page.

really? but what if the company found out that you have contributions from other companies that you didn't declare upon sending your application or during your interview, would that already be a ground for your discontinuance in the company??

You can return to file clearance, although this normally means first resolving your pending disciplinary case because of your AWOL absences.

even though it's almost 2 months since you committed AWOL?? you can still file for clearance and get your back pay?

yeps.. isa ako sa makapal ang muka na nagcclearance at kumukuha ng back pay kahit AWOL. you can also ask for COE.
