Congratulations To The American Idol Final 4 Pool Contest Winner!

The 10th season of American Idol is almost over and from the thousands of aspirants now only 4 remain: Scotty, Haley, James and Lauren!

Who will be the next American Idol?

But before we know who will be crowned as the winner, get the chance to win [highlight]gift certificate from Astroplus [/highlight] by joining Pinoyexchange's American Idol Final 4 Pool!

Contest Mechanics:

1. Pexers will predict the ranking of the final 4 contestants (Scotty, Haley, James and Lauren) and send it via PM to “IMTVcontests” with the subject: “FINAL 4”. The entry should have your mobile number, location, email, and predictions

2. Each correct prediction will earn you 20 points, a wrong prediction will not have a deduction. However, it is not allowed to have more than two or more names per ranking and repetition is not allowed

3. A Pexer has an option to “lock” his/her predictions per placing. Once you choose to “lock” you predictions, you will earn 30 points instead of just 20 points per correct prediction but if your prediction is wrong you will get a 10 point deduction per wrong guess.

4. Locking your predictions is flexible; you can choose to “lock” just one, or two or three if not all four placings. It’s your call! *okay*

5. To further understand the scoring system here are some examples:

*Note: These are all eliminated contestants already and we just used them for this illustration because using the actual final 4 would give a possible placing scenario that PExers could use.

All predictions are correct, you’ll earn 20 point each for total score of 80 points!

Case #2
1. Casey - LOCKED
2. Pia - LOCKED
3. Thia - LOCKED
4. Paul - LOCKED

All predictions are correct and they were all LOCKED so you’ll earn 30 point each for total score of 120 points!

Case #3
1. Casey - LOCKED
2. Pia - LOCKED
3. Paul - LOCKED
4. Thia - LOCKED
Predictions for #1 and #2 are correct and they are “LOCKED” so you’ll earn 30 point each for total of 60 points however #3 and #4 are wrong and they are LOCKED so you’ll have a 10 point deduction each bringing your score down to 40 points

Case #4
1. Casey - LOCKED
2. Pia - LOCKED
3. Paul
4. Thia
Predictions for #1 and #2 are correct and they are “LOCKED” so you’ll earn 30 point each for total of 60 points however #3 and #4 are wrong but since they are NOT LOCKED there will be no point deduction so you’ll retain your 60 points

6. The Pexer with the highest score will win a gift certificate from Astroplus record bar.

7. In case of a tie, the Pexer who submitted it first will win.

8. Submission period is from May 6, 2011 (Friday) until (Thursday) May 12, 11:59 pm Philippine Time (GMT+8).

9. You can not change your entry once you submitted it

10. Open to all Pexers. Pexers based abroad can join as long as there is someone who can claim their prize on their behalf. One entry per Pexer only.

11. The winner will be announced on May 30, 2011

    Two PExers correctly predicted the 4th placer but both didn't LOCK it so they just earned 20 points so for those who got it wrong, you guys are still in the running, don't lose hope yet.

    amazing that the Fianl three have all been in the bottom three before!

    And James Durbin who have never been in the bottom three is voted off!

    Something is bot very "kosher" with the voting system!

    How can anybody watched the finals when the best contender is not part of it?

    No one got the perfect Final 4 ranking :(

    Highest score: 40 points

    And 4 PExers obtained that score and as per the tie-breaking rule, the PExer who submitted his entry first will win. Upon verification by admin Nakura, the winner will be announced.
