Openings are for IT; they are outsourcing their IT operations over here just like what they did in Singapore. So if you have any experience in Unix systems administration, Windows Server administration, Active Directory, etc. then this is the Job for you.

Barclays here is with Firstsource Alabang, Teleperformance MOA, West Makati, and Teletech Sta Rosa. Biggest with lots of departments(back office,fraud,customer service,collections,retention, credit operations) is with West. Compensation is good but bonuses and call evaluations are unfair. Trust me I recently resigned from Firstsource. If youre planning to apply, make sure you wont be assigned to customer service/care or Retention, coz theyre pushing sales too much in inbound calls. And if you make a sale, they will find any way to say that its not valid or counted so you wont receive the bonus. Try to be assigned n collections or fraud or other departments.

I agree...i have friends there and knowing the voice account in FS, im sure sobrang toxic *** lahat and mejo mababa ang salary nila and lumelevel sa non voice din..eh di sana nag voice nalang sila..wawa naman,,,

Hindi naman sa mababa ang salary. Fixed lang, pag may call center experience ka P17,500, pag wala P14,500. + Meal and transportation allwoance P1,500. Not unless dun ka sa non voice accts nila which is Verizon, mababa talaga ang pasweldo dun. And Firstsource is one of the few call center companies that gives salary increase after a year. Ang pangit talaga sa kanila ay yung pang gagago nila sa mga agent sa call evaluations at bonuses sa mga sales.

Barclays Firstsource - 6th floor, Plaza/Bldg D, Northgate Cyberzone, Filinvest, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Baka maligaw ka pag lalakarin mo lang kaya mag FX ka na lang para sigurado. Punta ka sa South Station mall at tumawid ka dun sa skywalk na papuntang Festival mall (hindi yung mmda skywalk ha). Sa baba nung sky walk na yun tapat ng Fire station (bumbero) dun naka pila ang mga FX na papuntang Northgate. Sabihin mo pakibaba ka sa APAC, pagbaba mo dun sa likod ng APAC bldg yung Firstsource.

Bacrlays West - hindi ko alam kung aling bldg eh, basta sa Makati Ayala Ave.

Ask ko lang kung paano talaga recruitment process ng Firstsource. Nung March 14, nag-exam na ko tapos first and final interviews. 1PM dapat ang exam ko nun, eh sa sobrang daming nag-aapply, 4PM na kami nakapag-exam. Good for two hours yung exam. Tapos after an hour, na-interview ako. Tapos pinaghintay ako hanggang 9:30 PM for final interview.

Okay naman siguro final interview ko kasi pinababalik nila ko ng Tuesday 7PM for job offer. Dumating ang Tuesday, around 4PM tinawagan ako ng FS tapos ireresked daw yung job offer ko. Tinawagan ko sila kung kelan na. Sabi nila wait ko daw hanggang Friday. Ganun daw ngayon kasi inaalam pa daw nila yung possible starting dates ng new hires.

Dumating ang Friday tapos wala akong natanggap na tawag. Tinawagan ko sila, tapos trinansfer ako ng front desk nila sa recruitment, answering machine sumagot sa akin.

Tumawag ulet ako kanina, sabi ng recruitment wait ko na lang daw tawag nila. Sabi ko follow-up ko lang yung job offer ko. Sabi nila sira daw technical database nila.

Ano kaya to? Di na lang nila sabihin kung di na nila ko hire para di na lang ako umaasa. Sayang ang panahon at opportunity.

Ganun talaga sila matagal ang resulta. Kakilala ko yung mga taga recruitment, si Rowee saka yung bading si Alvin. Kung sa barclays ka ilalagay, nadedelay yung pag bigay nila ng job offer kasi magulo kausap yung mga taga barclays tungkol sa start ng training. 2 lang kasi ang Language trainor nila dun, baka meron pa kasing on going training. Hintayin mo lang, ako nga dati 4 weeks bago nila ko binigyan ng job offer, nung actual start ko nung training naguluhan pa kung sa collections o care ako ilalagay. Saka ako nga since nag resign ako sa Firstsource, 3 months na ngayun akong naghihintay ng progress ng application ko sa isang non call center company. Puro interview at exam at wala pang resulta, parang city hall, ang bagal ng galaw.

actually, mas maraming call center companies na nagbibigay ng salary increase anually, mas konti ang companies na nagbibigay ng salary increase once regularized, but mas maraming companies ang hindi nag iincrease like teletech hehe
