What happens if PLDT bill is not paid?

Ma-disconnect ba agad ito?
May dsl line din sa account na ito.

Another concern ko is, kung dalawa ang PLDT subscription under the same name, ma-aafect ba ito kung di binayaran yung isa? Like mapupunta dito yung overdue charges?

    If the bill remains unpaid when the next month's bill is generated, the next month's bill will contain the words "NOTICE OF DISCONNECTION". All charges must be paid immediately. Once you receive a notice of disconnection, PLDT may disconnect your service at any time. Disconnection does not involve a person showing up at your house or office. Your dial tone will simply disappear.

    If you have multiple subscriptions, only the unpaid ones will be disconnected.

    just wanted to make sure that our other account will not be affected.

    a certain personnel screwed up on a service request and they refused to acknowledge the mistake. and so, until this is fixed we want to postpone payment of the bill.

    so bale after the notice of disconnection, kung wala pang payment i-disconnect na nila?

    Yes. You will not be able to make or receive phone calls. To get the service reconnected, you will have to pay all the amounts due, including the charges for the time you were not able to use the phone. If you think about it, you will be paying for service you did not receive. Medyo lugi ka yata, diba?

    O nga eh, nakakainis talaga. tayo ang nagbabayad sa kasalanan nila.
    I have the document to prove that we submitted a service request. Napaka-hassle talaga na gagawa pa kami ng letter para i-dispute yung charges.

    Kung pwede lang padisconnect na namin pero kailangan pa namin itong number for a few more months. So iniisip ko siguro we will pay for the other services rendered except for the one that they messed up. Which is just about 1/3 of the total bill. Pag ganito kaya, may chance pa rin that they will disconnect the line?

    Another concern ko lang is baka i-blacklist ang subscriber and ma-affect yung isang number with the same name. Haaay.

    @TS. weird ang nangyari sa iyo. na document mo ba mabuti? e.g. faxed or emailed a complaint letter? kasi yung sa akin din, 3 (three!!!) months sira ang line. pero may complaint letter ako na ni confirm nila na natanggap nila. tapos 3 months dumating bill ko, di ko binabayaran, obviously 3 months nakalagay disconnection notice. sabi ng customer service nila, system generated ang billing nila, so di nila mapigilan ang pag send ng bills. after naayos na ang line, next month nagpadala ulit sila ng bill, na adjust na. lahat ng sa dati, tinanggal nila, so binayaran ko lang yung pro-rated days kung kailang naibalik ang line ko.

    @Glenchuy: Wala pa akong sinubmit na complaint letter. Yung hawak kong service request form was signed as received and dated by a personnel. So i think I have a case regarding the erroneous charge. Siguro nga babayaran ko lang yung ibang charges except for the one kung saan may dispute. And kung hindi talaga nila maayos several months from now, pwede kaya hayaan ko nalang hanggang ma-disconnect? A few months from now, we wont be needing the line anyway. I know it seems so unscrupulous but I'm just too tired to deal with it esp since I've been dealing with them for more than a year now (a different problem prior to this one - and mind you, this was on a monthly basis for a problem that they blamed on their "system")

    u can pay the pro rata amount due on the day u wish to terminate the line and leave the disputed amount there, if its pldts fault.

    Ako i refused to pay my landline hanggat di nakakabit yung DSL ko which is 2 months ng nadelay. Inabot ng 4 months nung tumawag sila na ikakabit na and I cancelled the application right away. Ngayon I'm going for another telco kasi dinisconnect na nila yung landline. Buti naman kasi I have no intention of settling my bill after what they have done.

    things have changed. now Manny the Greedy cuts off internet even if 2 days late, no notice. they don't call it disconnection, but blocking

    I think they have a grace period of four days. After that, they block your internet. You will also get a reminder when you dial out. :lol:

    Sa experience ko, may red envelope na dumarating agad the following day and/or a voice prompt sa landline kapag nag-past due ang bill.

    I suggest you go to the nearest PLDT office in your area and talk to a csr. Ganyan ginagawa ko pag may problema sa subscription namin. Bring necessary document/s.

    tanong lang po.. my dsl ako kung saan itinigil ko na magbayad kasi pinutol nila yung internet pagkatapos hindi ako makabayad sa ng isang buwan up to now. pero continues yung billing ko kahit pa hindi **** magamit yung router kasi nga wala **** data. tama po bang singilin nila ako?

    Nasa T&C nila yan, afaik. Non-payment on the 2nd month = no service lang. After 3 months = disconnection. Since di ka pa "disconnected", continuous pa yung charges. Ganyan kasi nangyari sa smart namin, eventually binayaran ko na lang din(pre-termination was waived, natakot yata sa ntc). Baka kasi mahirapan magpa-connect ng dsl.

    I'm assuming same is true for pldt, and you are talking about pldt dsl. If not, then read t&c.

    halimbawa sir mag pa disconnect ako sa pldt kaso nung tinawag ko sa kanila ang computation 19k babayaran ko kasi naka lockin pa ako sa kanila hanggang march 2018 tapos may dalawang famcam ako na inavail sa kanila. if di ako mag bayad ng monthly sa kanila i-backlist lang ba nila ako?

    I just wanted to ask po, 'yung bayarin po namin kada buwan sa PLDT ay 1,400 kaso ang amount na nabayaran namin for this month ay 1,100 lang. Simula nung nagpa-connect kami hanggang ngayon nababayaran naman namin iyong payment. Ok lang po ba ang amount na 1,100 lang iyong nabayaran namin ngayong buwan? Hindi 'ho ba kami mapuputulan ng connection nito? Salamat po.:)

    I'm connected with pldt for long time... Until lumbas po Ung promo nila ba TELepad... Ung 1st TELepad nila sblay so they offer better one DAW At my additional syempre. But the 2nd TELepad is more worst un internet nya po ngdidisconnect,  d kmi Mlapit going call at Ung I'm coming calls Wala rin po my ring pero Wala po naririnig sa TELepad... Try to call them for 5months we still paying same amount of bill khit unless n xa kasi data n Ung gingmit nmin... May mga issue sila Ha okay daw papadala ng tao, icheck daw po Nila Ung area blah blah blah...  So in short Wala po pumuntang tao ng pldt.  So I decided n Mag switch n po sa globe broadband kasi prang pinagkakakitaan nlng kmi ng pldt.  Try to talk to them I disconnect na pero they asking me to pay 30,000 po para sa penalty daw po kasi nla contract ako sa TELepad... Eh d ko nga magamit Wala rin cla action n gingwa... Nagmukha ng display Ung telepono sa bahay nmin.  And now may pinapdla ba silang letter with attourney signature for not paying the bill...  ANO PO PWEDE KO GAWIN???

    Did you ever tell them in the first place na may problema ang telpad? Kasi if there is no complaint or report coming from you on the telpad then PLDT will assume that the telpad works, that you are actively using it without any issue and they have the right to ask for payment (kasi walang issue - as there was no report from you).

    Simply switching without closing an existing issue will haunt you like you do right now. Nagrereport na kasi mga telco pa ng credit standing so this will also affect any loans and credit that you will apply in the future.
