Question po for doctors: Why D5NSS?

Why is D5NSS used for someone who is having fever and could possibly have measles? what if PNSS ang ginamit, is it ok?

^ it could have been used as a supportive measure to help lower down the fever and baka dahil hindi rin kumakain yung patient. pwede rin naman ang PNSS.
