Di naman kaya parang IBM Daksh ang patakbo nito? Major major multi-task kapalit ng kakarampot na sweldo? :bungi:

As far as I know that differs with regards to experience bro - since its a day job (as what I've gathered) and its a local account that they are starting with (meaning your american neutralized accent won't amount too much), the pay is not that high as what you may be used to.

    Tech, could you confirm?

Bro, no offense but its part of the territory that you multi-task - whatever capacity you may be in any BPO company. When it comes to pay - its your choice - you stick with a low paying job with a whole myriad of tasks to do - or find lesser tasks with bigger pay.

Lets give Tech Mahindra a chance. They haven't started yet, so they don't need to be crucified - just yet, if ever.

All I know is the base pay may be a notch lower, since the account is local but then again on the other side of the coin - its a day job, and it doesn't require neutralized american accent.

And the other thing to consider here - is that its a start-up - chance of progressing up the career ladder is immense - if compared to other established centers.

Genmgr2010 - sir are you part of TM already?

I applied here a few weeks ago. Yes the account is a local telco provider and I was told that they can only offer minimum wage for agent posts since it's a start-up company but when the recruitment officer saw my resume she told me that she'll profile me na lang for a higher post since I am what they consider a "seasoned agent". I just said okay and to give me a call or email me when they need me. :) She told me na ops will start next year pa. They have CSR and TSR posts pero for the same account, diff LOBs nga lang siguro.

That is accurate - maybe a notch lower, but in exchange for

    a) living normally (day job)
    b) speaking in the vernacular (no need for exaggerated accents - which can be punishing on the throat)
    c) excellent working location (fronting The Podium no less)
    d) accessible modes of transport (wherever you are)
    e) exceptional opportunities for career growth (being a start-up)
    g) you have the evenings to yourself

    its well worth it.

    Hi Satch,

Its unlikely that gm2010 will pursue working with us - he recently got a huge offer for a lucrative post in an established BPO company.

Kudos to gm though. He's a really talented, unselfish guy with astonishing credentials. Clearly well deserved.

Hi! I am currently employed but I would like to explore the opportunities that you offer. I currently work as a sales support specialist (a LEAD post) in one of the biggest call centers in the Philippines. I do not handle agents but I have been trained to handle people. Would I qualify to apply as a team lead or a qa? Do you also offer HMO to your employees and their dependents? I'm planning to apply on January 3, 2011, would you be open by that date? Thanks and Have a Happy New year!!!
