HP vs Accenture
I'm currently working for Hewlett Packard. A few days ago, Accenture called up wanting to schedule me for an interview.
I received some not so good feedbacks from ex-employees of Accenture who transferred to HP because unfortunately they were hit by the lay-off back in 2008, 2009.
Now it seems that Accenture is now massively hiring. I don't know the culture in Accenture and the experience that I could possibly get in Accenture nor the salary.
If you were given the same salary and assuming same type of work, which company would you choose to work for?

Comments
In general, if you are given the same salary with the same work, don't go for it
As for ACN vs HP, both are fortune 500 companies, best in their fields, both are not perfect as well but both have their own advantages and disadvantages.
I wouldn't want to pick a side as it would be biased but you hopefully won't go wrong choosing anyone of those companies. They are in the top of their fields.
Just one pointer, look at the environment indicators - your un-biased friends, the comments you are hearing, forums, trending (eg. do you see more ex-HP moving to ACN or ex-ACN moving to HP, how many employees resigning, etc).
But, then again, you have to take it with a grain of salt. Don't readily believe all inputs from anyone. Honestly, my best indicator is trending.
which is better, interms of salary, benefits, career growth, training and for a fresh graduate like me, where should i go?
Kakaunting positions lang sa HP ang may significant career growth, and I don't think data analyst is one of them.
:(
pero ASE >> data analyst/service desk analyst
I know ASE people from ACN and analysts on HP
mas technical yung ASE, coding talaga
while service desks analyst medyo "customer care"
I recommend go to ACN *okay*
@thread starter
what's your point? *pfft*
If you're planning to apply in HP. You better give HP a head start before applying to Accenture.
