  • Hinidi ako mommy pero sa baby namin *** sa tabi-tabi lang hehehe. Wala pa siyang 1k, actually less pa nga siya ng 800. Not that big either. Gawa pa siya sa kahoy. Pero we're good with it :D

Watch out for them. They've done a few segments and articles on dangerous cribs. Esp. the drop side ones are notorious.

Had 2 cribs. One portable folding crib and large wooden crib used by several of my cousins and passed down to me which I will pass on to next one in my family who has a baby. I had it painted blue because the last color was pink. The previous user was my female cousin. Incidentally they don't make cribs like those anymore.

Both were minimally used. My kids sleep beside me. They refused to stay in the crib and screamed like they were being tortured when placed in the crib.
  • Most cribs have drop sides but that wasn't our main concern, we think the crib is pretty sturdy. Our main concern was the paint used but my dad (business is in real estate) said the paint they used was ok (I forgot what they used). Our concern now is that she just turned 1 and is slowly outgrowing the crib. The crib's about 3.5ft long, 2.5 wide and 3ft high.

You think the parents of these kids thought their cribs weren't? I don't have kids and I'm not sensitive like some of your parents here but---hey it's your child. :glee: Paramedics/firefighters have their job because they come up pulling dead or dying kids and people from all sorts of places. Job security for many of us. :D

These pictures main websites also have articles on it. *okay*

Delikado toh...Tsk tsk...Ayan dapat we should be more careful...
  • Such events are unfortunate, but we feel pretty safe with the crib that we bought (yung sa tabi-tabi) :)

We bought a convertible Delta crib (it's not a drop side crib) and a Graco Pack and Play. I like them both, but since our baby is only 2 months old, she uses the Pack and Play more as it includes a bassinet and a changing area. :)

Hi guys! Im on my last trimerster na and i've been doing research on using old cribs when I ran across this blog IS IT OKAY TO USE OLD CRIBS?

Tapos i did a little more research and found out na drop sided cribs are not allowed anymore because of the accidents that happened because of them.

Anyway, i'll probably just invest in a new crib for my baby. Not willing to take the risk. tipid na lang ako on other things basta safe si baby.
  • Iba pala effect pag navisualize mo what could happen. :/
