The usually comic Pokwang turned gloomy when she was asked for her reaction about Kris Aquino’s forthcoming exit from Pilipinas Win na Win. “Araw-araw po kaming nag-uusap bilang magkasama kami ng dressing room so araw-araw na may lungkot,” she said before breaking into tears at the press conference of her upcoming three-day concert entitled Endangered Species.

However, the singer-actress added that even if they will no longer work together in the meantime, they have agreed to continue to communicate and find time for each other.

Pokwang is also happy with the fact that she and Kris are working in the same building, thus making it easier for them to meet often. “Nandyan lang siya sa ABS-CBN compound, alam ko na pwede ko siyang puntahan sa bahay,” she said. She shared that she will miss Kris’s contagious perky mood every time she would enter the dressing room.

On the other hand, Pokwang hopes to establish a healthy working relationship with the four incoming male hosts of Pilipinas Win na Win, namely Rico J. Puno, Rey Valera, Marco Sison, and Nonoy Zuñiga.

She explained that her main concern now is to have a smooth working relationship with the four seasoned singers, whom she looks up to.

Meanwhile, Pokwang will be busy with her concerts at the Aliw Theater on October 15, 16, and 17. Aside from guests that include Regine Velasquez, Zsazsa Padilla, Kuh Ledesma, Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby, and Melai Cantiveros, Pokwang said that the staff has exerted a lot effort to come up with an entertaining, amusing, and funny show. So nag-share kami, kumbaga nagtulong-tulong para maganda.

Endangered Species is produced by ASAP Live, ABS-CBN, Camera Entertainment Productions, and Ultramega. Tickets are available at SM Cinema Outlets at 470-222 and Aliw Theater at 832-6121.
