Lebanon pala ang host.

naexcite lang ule ako sa international basketball tournaments.

hoping for a great finish for Philippine team. (SMART GILAS *okay*)

:) Barocca, Casio, Tiu, Slaughter, Japeth, Ababou, Ramos, Cawaling, Ballesteros, Baracael. and Lutz, Lassiter, Douthit

Sino kaya mawala and retain? sino posibleng maadd?

possible additions of Kelly Williams and Asi would be BIG.

    Umaasa rin ako na makuha ng Gilas ang lone olympic spot for Asia sa 2011 eventhough alam kong medyoo mahirap talaga( we're facing powerhouses Iran, China, Lebanon) pero who knows diba? bilog ang bola:lol:

    A 4th or 5th place is still ok, at least may improvement sa previous achievement natin nung PBA pa ang nag hahandle ng NT(we placed 9th(?) ata):lol:

    Mas realistic ang chance natin mga year 2014 Fiba World Champioship, mas maraming slots, more chances to qualify:)

    well, we will see how SG would fare in the coming asian games in guangzhou.

    last 2006 asian games, di tayo nakasali due to suspension.

    hoping for a place finish for Smart Gilas.

    preview plus reviews and changes for the coming fiba asias.

    It's not about the height. It's about the gulang :D.

    Wasn't this the same tournament where we had so many fouls because (according to the commentators) "The Filipinos are used to no-blood-no-foul officiating"?

    seriously kung #2 tayo sa rebounding, hindi rebounding devil kuno ang kailangan natin. we need scorers na kahit anong mangyari either makaka-score o makakapunta sa FT line at pure shooter.

    di ko sure pero alam ko hindi rin biro-biro ang wildcard.. makakalaban mo yung mga nabigo ring team na galing sa europe, americas, oceania, africa .. mas mahirap:)

    mas konti ang slots ng olympics always.

    BTW, before this thread meron palang FIBA Asia U-18 sa Yemen this end of Sept. ano kaya status no U-18 natin dyan?

    Thats good enough for me. At least we can witness team Smart Gilas playing against teams from other continents. Like for example JV Casio playing against Jose Barea or Carlos Arroyo of Puerto Rico. :lol: or Mac Baracael vs Charlie Villanueva of Dominican Republic. :lol: or maybe Smart Gilas vs the National team of Germany.

    Sa Asian games lang tayo siguro may pag-asa mag land sa top three. This is because China will be playing without Yao and Yi Jianlian and Iran will be playing without Hadadi. Nasa NBA na sila lahat at start na ng NBA season sa time na yan. Lebanon might be playing without Vroman if he gets offers in the Euro Leagues. Despite that, we still have to deal with Korea.

    oo nga eh, from what i've heard they're training in usa against d-league teams and nba summer league teams tapos may bago pa ata silang mga recruit na half-korean bigs.. not quite sure about this

    slightly off topic... medyo favor na rin akong ilipat sa china yung tournament kaysa sa lebanon....

    kung yung court pa rin ang gagamitin lamang ang lebanon.. dahil ma humid at madulas yung court.. tingnan nyo yung last stankovic cup mga players nadudulas... pangalawa yung mga hotel na pinagtutuluyan ng mga opposing teams... ang lebanon 15 minutes away sa court.. ang opposing team bibibyahe pa ng 2 to 3 hours lugi ka run... yung legs mo nakabaluktot ng ilang oras...

    Blame FIBA for that, binigay ang venue sa Lebanon na hoping it will change the basketball image of Middle East di naman, kamote naman silang lahat World's

    Bring back the venue to the countries wherein the basketball image is strong. China, Korea, Japan and Phils
