  • te anu nakakatawa? :rotlmao: hindi ako ot student, pero tingin ko bago mo isipin kung papasa ka. dapat alam mo muna kung anu ang tama spelling ng occupational therapy.

i believe mahirap naman pasukan lahat ng programs offered by UST dahil meron sila quota per se. and also ask yourself, bakit gusto mo maging ot? cause mahirap magsisi sa huli. *** rin.

well i think ustet isn't that difficult to pass. pero studying in ust is different thing. dami natatanggal/kickout un lang.

USTET is so easy, a cave man can pass it.

The problem is the other students you're racing with to get a spot for the OT program.

What are your accomplishments that will make you shine more than the thousands of passing applicants? Extra- curricular activities? Awards?

Basic questions that cannot just be answered by this and that. You have to work on it and it should show once you enter the room.

^ that reminds me of the Parable of the Wheat Field, where the landowner allowed the weeds to grow with the good wheat, and when the harvest came, the weeds are uprooted and burned while the wheat was harvested and milled in the barn.

wala naman po akong special awards o kung ano pa man. average student lang po ako. dinadaan ko lang po sa aral ang lahat. pero minsan sa diskarte na din pag naka-limutan mag-aral. hehe.. :D

Out of 55 nun 1st year, 23 na lang kami ngayon 4th year, mababawasan pa 'yan sa 5th yr. Ask yourself first, if you see yourself as an OT 10 years from now or if OT is really meant for you. Mahirap na rin magsisi sa huli. ;)
  • Your question is really very subjective. Some may find USTET easy. Some people may find it difficult to pass. It's really up to you how well you study in high school.

But one thing I can tell you. OT is not walk in the park.

Well, if you are aiming to get a spot in any programs under the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, you need to have higher USTET score, superb high school grades and also do well on the date of your interview. Yes, passing alone the USTET is just one of the admission process of the college. You still have to undergo interview, and make sure your HS grades are superb. They will rank it according to your USTET score, HS grades, and interview among the prospective applicants.

As what other has mentioned. Assess yourself first if you're really ready to be called a UST CRS student. Hindi uso doon ang tamad. Expect a lot of sacrifices kapag nandoon ka na.

Wala masyado social life dun compare sa iba colleges. Books are your bestfriend. Library will be your second home in college. Be ready to read many handouts per courses. Be ready to read medical books (i.e Medical Physiology, Human Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Pathology, Kinesiology, Pharmacology, Psychiatry, Neurology, Cardiology, Orthopedics and the list goes on.). Lastly, be ready to fail.

Kaya think first before making it as your first choice. Just my 2 cents.
  • By the way, it's Occupational Therapy not Occupational Theraphy. :)
